If it still existed then I'd say it should be experienced at least once. It was such a horrible experience that it made 2020 look like a cake walk. Rode it once, glad I did, but never went near it since.
This is definitely a great bucket list for North America and many of these coasters are high on my bucket list. For unique experiences I think other good ones would be Beast, Superman El Ultimo Escape’, I305, Millie, Lost Coaster, and Lightning Run.
XscreamThrills Coaster at Playland is the only one on here I haven't ridden. But you're right it's a great list. And you have a great channel yourself!
True story on XL200 magic seat, my first and only ride in it was reopening weekend this summer. Was my last ride for the weekend at CP and ride op assigned me row 1. A father a very young daughter about to do her first ever hyper were behind me. I asked, you guys want front row?! They were so excited, Dad said he’s ridden XL200 half a dozen times growing up and never got a front row ride. Little did they know I just really wanted the magic seat...lol. That ride was amazing, all the while watching the daughter becoming an enthusiast in the process....she exited the ride and literally ran off to get back in line, her dad running to catch back up with her. Was quite the experience to watch unfold in front of me all while riding what felt like a bucking bronco on those last airtime hills.
My #1 at cedar point for some reason. I love maverick, millennium, and Steel Vengeance, but it’s a must for me to go on Magnum every visit. No matter what. Great ride every time.
P Mac completely respect that, there’s so much that’s special about magnum that isn’t reflected by other rides at the park. Even Millie which is awesome along the lakefront, magnum arguably does the same even more so and has more of the the ‘lake audience’ in their boats just watching people ride xl200 over and over again..
Great list! I have been on the Top 5 on this list. My current Top 10 bucket list coasters that are currently operating in North America are: 10. Superman the Ride (SFNE) 9. Phoenix 8. Coaster (PNE Playland) 7. Phantom's Revenge 6. Wicked Cyclone 5. Medusa Steel Coaster 4. Twisted Timbers 3. Intimidator 305 2. Sky Rush 1. El Toro
I’ll always remember the first time I got to ride in the magic seat on Magnum XL 200. It was over this past summer was at Cedar Point with some friends. The ride op who was assigning seats was GP to Enthusiast. When I asked him about the magic seat I knew I was in for something special, and it lived up to the hype Honesty it may have been the most intense airtime I’ve ever experienced. More intense than Phantom’s Revenge or Steel Vengeance. Just wish it was a little less painful. It definitely deserves to be on this list!
I did a night ride on Cannibal this last Saturday and it was fantastic!! The ride doesn't really have a lot of lighting aside from lights on the cars and some lighting on the temple façade outside; they don't even light up until you're at the top of the lift just before the drop. Climbing a pitch black elevator only to be greeted by the night sky on Cannibal is definitely something that needs to be experienced. If there's a coaster you need to get a night ride on, Cannibal is definitely one of them! I did make a bucket list video on my channel last month. Eejanaika and El Toro are on it, with Time Traveler and Voyage as honorable mentions. Next year, I plan on getting around to Magnum, and hopefully El Toro and Phantom's Revenge. Super stoked for those! Great list as always, my dude!
It doesn't rank high, but Leap-the-Dips at Lakemont should absolutely be on everyone's bucket list. It's the oldest operating in the world, and the ride experience is one of a kind! Plus, it gives some surprising moments of airtime with no restraint whatsoever.
I saw the saddest sight for me last time I was at six flags. Somebody, on the older side, sat down, they had a coaster enthusiast “don’t staple me” shirt, so I thought he was. They had to give him a height check, and he was too tall to ride. Meaning that he couldn’t ride any more coasters in the park. They asked him to leave, and gave him a refund. It still hurt when I took over his spot. I almost cried up that lift hill. Because that may have been his last ride.
Here are some of my top bucket list coasters: Lil Phantom Great Pumpkin Coaster Wilderness Run Cocoa Cruiser And many other airtime filled kiddie coasters :)
I rode Boulder Dash for the first time a few months after I rode El Toro for the first time. I remember getting off it thinking "that's it?" mainly bc I was comparing it to the last woodie I rode, and El Toro is second to none in that department. I have since rode it a few more times and can appreciate that it's a good ride, but more for the setting than for the actual elements.
Great video! Super informative, especially because I have a personal bucket list of almost every roller coaster in North America. My top 10 bucket list is: 1. Beast 2. Superman The Ride (SFNE) 3. Intimidator 305 4. Steel Vengeance 5. Cannibal 6. Kingda Ka 7. Fury 325 8. X2 9. Iron Rattler 10. Voyage As for what’s in your video, Phantoms Revenge is 31 Hades 360 is 30 Time Traveler is 11 El Toro is 21 I’ve already ridden Magnum. Boulder Dash and Coaster are both in my top 150ish but I can’t be bothered to count down their exact numbers 😂
X2 was the first coaster in a LONG time that actually scared me. I’ve never experienced anything like it and it’s the one coaster for me that is neck and neck with Steel Vengeance. I think I like SV better but it’s cutting hairs. They’re the two best coasters I’ve ever ridden.
This is an awesome list and glad that Voyage helped kick this list off! Really appreciate seeing the Wisconsin coasters thrown in there (can’t wait to experience the ‘ejector death hill’) as I didn’t really hear much about them. X2 is arguably what sent me off on my travels for hitting all the bucket list coasters...thus the RUclips profile pic of OMFG look on the second time riding X2! BTW, got the other two bucket list woodie coasters off the list this past weekend, El Toro and Phoenix; I’m still a Voyage fanboy after this years Holiwood Nights
It's my favorite Disney coaster, but it's not exactly a thrill coaster all things considered. The soundtrack and riding in the dark do add a bit to the thrill, but it's still pretty tame even with that. Given the choice I like the regular version of the ride over either of the overlay versions (Ghost Galaxy during Halloween or the Star Wars themed Hyperspace Mountain.)
I love Space Mountain, but it's definitely style over substance. It has amazing theming, but the ride itself is basically a tame family coaster in the dark.
X2 is definitely #1 on my bucket list. I’ve been on more Arrows than any other manufacturer. I feel like I really need to get on their last coaster which was perhaps their greatest creation
Btw thank you for your awesome copyright free footage, it’s nice having footage to use if you don’t have have footage, especially since I don’t have a sufficient camera too film footage. I have a few reviews on the channel, and I remembered to credit you for the footage.
I just got back from my very first trip to CP. Took a little weekend trip with my dad to Cleveland to see the Rock HoF, drove down to KI and then back up to CP for some first experiences. Got a back ride row in magnum and it was awesome. Almost didn’t get a ride on SteVe because it was down two times but luckily opened and ended our trip with a ride in the back. Hands down best ride I’ve ever been on!! Anyways, just wanted to share our story lol love the channel Chris!!!!
El Toro is my absolute favorite ride ever!!!! Hurt my back in the ending but, lifting ur arms right on those drops and just letting the lap bar hold your thighs while ur off ur seat is amazing!!!
I believe that Hyperspace Mountain at Disneyland Paris is one of the most unique rides in Europe, its star wars theme, special effects and unique element ( the tongue ) deliver a rare and cool experience, even though the coaster itself isn't as spectacular as Steel Vengeance or the Smiler
I got to ride Space Mountain when it still had its original Jules Verne theme. It was an amazing experience. I really wish Disney would return to the original theme because it was so awesome. It's easily the best coaster Disney has ever made.
Nice video! When I clicked on this video, I wasn't expecting to have ridden any of the ones on your list, mainly because my credit count is pretty low, but I've actually been on 2 of them; Hades(I've even ridden it before they added the corkscrew) and Time Traveler. Both are fantastic, definitely bucket list worthy. I would love to ride the rest of the coasters on this list someday. I think 3 of my top bucket list coasters right now are El Toro, Voyage, and The Beast.
Lived in Vancouver and rode 'Coaster' many times. Its my favorite roller coaster hands down. Its fun and absolutely wild. I honestly prefer the front row since the airtime is more sustained.
For me in no particular order -Any Togo Ultra Twister -The Ultimate at Light Water Valley -Nemesis at Alton Towers -The Knock off B&M Dive Machine by Golden Horse in China
Me: soon I hope I ride Steel Vengeance, Iron Gwazi, Voyage, El Toro, DC Riva- My parents: shut up we aren’t going anywhere now get back to studying your math test.
I feel so lucky to live between Holiday World and Kings Island. When I rode the Voyage during the opening season, I didn't realize how impactful it would be, especially on my love of roller coasters. I'm glad it is so high on so many lists. Same goes for Kings Island, legendary park!
Boulderdash and El Toro are great roller coasters I hope I get to ride them again next summer because this summer was very horrible and I wasn't able to unfortunately but also I would love to ride every single roller coaster on this list at some point in my life for sure but keep up the great work
Checked off Time Traveler a week and a half ago as my 78th credit! It's my new #1... totally worth the price of admission!! Ughh but with the one train ops and cleaning every 30 mins, the clock sounds in the queue were driving me crazy. We were on the second level for 25 mins. Outlaw Run and Powder Keg also amazing! Wildfire was head banging really hard in one of the last rolls and the new raft ride was weak if anyone cares on this channel. SDC was great though! KUNGALOOSH!!!
Great Video! I,ve been on all of them except 2. After these i would add Lightning Rod and Intimidator 305. Those 2 are really one of a kind and unique as well for adrenaline junkies.
I've ridden El Toro, Phantom's Revenge, Magnum, and Cannibal. X2 is actually at the top of my bucket list, with Time Traveler right behind it. I have a lot of international coasters on my list, such as Hakugei, Ejenakia, Flying Dinosaur, Steel Dragon 2000, FLY, Ride to Happiness and Nemesis.
X2 - for Uniqueness Helix - for Soundtrack, pacing and awesome layout Fury325 - to experience a Giga Drop Zadra - just looks awesome lol El Toro - Colossos was good and that can only be better Hades 360 - looks just insane and i love woodies yeah thats a bit of my bucket list i guess
I like it. Front row Fury325 is one of my favorite coaster experiences, and El Toro is my favorite overall coaster. I'm hoping 1 year later you've managed at least one of these!
With lineups constantly changing, I can't really say I have a "bucket list" so much as a "next season list" of parks. For 2022 it's first visits to Dollywood, Knoebel's, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Indiana Beach (OK, Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain *is* on my bucket list...), plus a revisit to Kings Dominion as I have not been since 2002, so I've ridden neither Twisted Timbers nor Intimidator 305. Also, just this week I was at Hershey with my brother who is moving out of the area. Next year we are planning to go there again, as both Skyrush and Fahrenheit were down for our visit, and his gf has never been there.
I agree that lagoon should manufacture rides for other parks. They can make a name for themselves as the only amusement park that makes coasters for other parks
My review of your list 10. 100% agree its on my list too 9. I've been on it and thought it was a rough. Great ride. I wouldn't say its bucket list material though. 8. I've heard great things about it. Not on my bucket list though. 7. I've heard mixed reviews. Im not sure if its on my bucket list, but I do want to try it. 6. On my list 5. Been on it. Fantastic ride. Deserves to be on list. 4. On my list. 3. Fantastic ride! 2. I went on it this year. I was disappointed. It was high on my bucket list. I got night rides on it. I wasn't blown away. 1. Amazing ride.
I’ve ridden magnum many times over the past summer and I agree with your statement that the magic seat is insane, but I prefer riding in the back seat. I also rode voyage last year, but it’s still on my bucket list bc I haven’t ridden it trimless at night. Hopefully at sometime in the future I can experience the other 8 rides you listed, especially x2 and el toro
An underrated bucket list coaster in my opinion is Boardwalk bullet at Kemah. It is one of the most compact wooden coasters in the world. It has incredible pacing and has one of the most insane wooden coaster layouts ever.
I've only been on two of those coasters: Magnum and Phantom. Magnum is a bucket list simply because it was the first hypercoaster. Kennywood is my home park so Phantom holds a special place in my heart (I actually preferred the original Arrow with the inversions). My bucket list that people should ride (and that I've ridden) would include The Beast at night, Coney Island Cyclone, Millennium Force, all three Kennywood wooden coasters (Jack Rabbit, Racer, Thunderbolt). Special mention to the Matterhorn Bobsleds as the first tubular steel coaster. Add Space Mountain in Paris for extra kudos 😁
Video Idea: Coasters that even enthusiasts get scared to ride. You know when you first got into coasters and EVERY coaster gave you a rush because it was terrifying? I miss that thrill. what are some coasters that provide that ~scary~ element.
I got 6 out of ten on the list so far should have been 7. Lol damn I went to Lake Compounce a few years back and Bolder Dash was shut down, been to Silver Dollar City 4 times but that was before time traveler. Will definitely return. Question for Airtime does Hershey Park fall into your top ten with it's new Coaster Candymomium. I lost count how many times I have been to Hershey my hometown park.
Been on just one, phantoms revenge. My big trip this summer got canceled which would have gotten me in at least 4 of the other coasters. Next year, hopefully!
I’ve already done Phantom, and it was crazy good. Magnum’s magic seat really hurt my thighs, and left SkyRush-type bruises there, and I didn’t really like it. I should’ve done more research
Lilly Rose yeah it is, we got two ‘perfect duels’ on both sides of the track during our 8 rides we had on TC, and it was at night, freaking epic. And to end that day, we got a rain ride partial duel which was nuts. Duels are awesome, just did Lightning Racer at Hershey park, a pretty long GCI that starts off and ends dueling, and I couldn’t believe how awesome that was
Yep, so that's pretty much exactly my bucket NA bucket list. Only difference is I have Lighting Rod in there somewhere instead of either Coaster or Hades, thought idk which.
The Beast at Kings Island should be on everyone’s list. Absolute legend.
I’ve done it already. This past Summer
I considered it. Kinda similar to the boulder dash entry but i think BD's setting is even better
Oh yeah that curve into the tunnel 😏
I know that's right!!!
Especially at night
You should do “top twenty coasters that need a re paint” and say what colors they should color it!
yea
Tatsu, Tatsu, Tatsu... and then 17 others
wickedphant0m Nitro, Nitro, Kingda Ka, Diamond Back, Nitro, Nitro, Nitro
Ill do one on color schemes

Ride that one last because itll make you kick that bucket
Unless you want to ride a coaster that’ll end up hurting your legs and knees, I would take his advice and save Green Lantern for last.
@@TylerPCoyne I think you mean Skyrush
I was thinking just the same thing!
This is definitely a great bucket list for North America and many of these coasters are high on my bucket list.
For unique experiences I think other good ones would be Beast, Superman El Ultimo Escape’, I305, Millie, Lost Coaster, and Lightning Run.
This is a great list and a couple of these coasters still remain on my bucket list. 👍
fyi, thanks for featuring my footage of Boulder Dash!
I agree, great list!
XscreamThrills Coaster at Playland is the only one on here I haven't ridden. But you're right it's a great list. And you have a great channel yourself!

The footage of Boulder Dash was worth the wait
Its definitely a hard coaster to get footage of

Honesty it may have been the most intense airtime I’ve ever experienced.

I feel like the beast at kings island atleast deserves an honorable mention for its night ride experience
I'm riding Time Traveler for the first time this coming Saturday. And Sunday. I can't wait.
Checked it off last week!!! It is awesome!!! Bring some ear plugs for the clock noises in the queue and sit in the last car!!
It's fantastic! Have fun!

Meaning that he couldn’t ride any more coasters in the park. They asked him to leave, and gave him a refund. It still hurt when I took over his spot.
I almost cried up that lift hill. Because that may have been his last ride.
X2 was insane, definitely worth the ride.
My bucket list coaster for me is Steel Vengeance from Cedar Point.
Here are some of my top bucket list coasters:
Lil Phantom
Great Pumpkin Coaster
Wilderness Run
Cocoa Cruiser
And many other airtime filled kiddie coasters :)
don’t forget air grover
You've got to be joking... Lightning Rod? Steel Vengeance?
*i know this comment was made as a joke, don't murder me lol*

I tell you what, Canyon Blaster at Magic Mountain is a pretty wild one.
I rode Boulder Dash for the first time a few months after I rode El Toro for the first time. Thoughts On Space Mountain? (Disneyland)
God do I love the theming on it! Everytime I rode it the line was like 2-3 hrs though
I love Space Mountain, but it's definitely style over substance. It has amazing theming, but the ride itself is basically a tame family coaster in the dark.
I think that it’s a bucket list coaster due to how inconic it is, similar to the beast at KI
I think the Flight of Fear (KI and KD) route wouldve been a better pick as it offers amazing theming and a more insane ride experience
I LOVE the eastern coast terrain woodies! They're almost always amazing.

I've only done three on my bucket list so far, all at Alton Towers: Oblivion, Nemesis, and The Smiler. But really looking forward to adding more!
I rlly want to ride voyage, im near it
If Mean Streak Henry can ride Mean Streak 16000 times. You probably won't get too old to ride stuff.
Insane.
On Magnum, I had an insane ride on the first row of the back cart
X2 - for Uniqueness
Helix - for Soundtrack, pacing and awesome layout
Fury325 - to experience a Giga Drop
Zadra - just looks awesome lol
El Toro - Colossos was good and that can only be better
Hades 360 - looks just insane and i love woodies
yeah thats a bit of my bucket list i guess
Cannibal is at my home park, and it's easily the best coaster I've ridden.
Lagoon is also my home park and cannibal is number 2 for me only behind steel vengeance
Glad to see magnum on this list!
Thanks so much for using my Phantom’s Revenge footage!!!
Superman ride of steel in six flags New England still on my top 10! Classic
X2 also has the flamethrowers which depending on ur seat create one of my favorite fire elements on a coaster.
Yeah "big zooooom!"is on my bucket list .
These rides look insane! Someday...
Glad coaster made it on the list! My local park! Sad I couldn't go this summer due to covid
Your videos are awesome , I love parks and coasters though I am also afraid and trying to get better
I agree that lagoon should manufacture rides for other parks. They can make a name for themselves as the only amusement park that makes coasters for other parks
El Toro is in my home park! X2 and all of Magic Mountain are on my bucket list. And Silver Dollar City :)
I’ve only ridden #2-4. I agree with every comment on those coasters. Nice review!
People in coasters experiencing airtime with lapbars: 🙌
Me driving way too fast on my moped over speedbumps: ✈
My review of your list
10. 100% agree its on my list too
9. I've been on it and thought it was a rough. Great ride. I wouldn't say its bucket list material though.
8. I've heard great things about it. Not on my bucket list though.
7. I've heard mixed reviews. Im not sure if its on my bucket list, but I do want to try it.
6. On my list
5. Been on it. Fantastic ride. Deserves to be on list.
4. On my list.
3. Fantastic ride!
2. I went on it this year. I was disappointed. It was high on my bucket list. I got night rides on it. I wasn't blown away.
1. Amazing ride.
Anything on this list looks great. But you should do a top 10 bucket list coasters of you in the world!
My top 2 bucket list coasters are at fuji q!
Green lantern should be on that list. Lol. Because, well yeah. That Pain is not good!
*Do-Dodonpa has left the chat*
Great list. Great video. 👍
Already been on Hades, and should be getting on X2 this summer. Other rides on my bucket list include steel vengeance and montezooma’s revenge
Suggestion, bucket list ‘dream rides’...IE, dueling twisted colossus, beast night ride, voyage trimless, kingda ka/tfd front row/roll back, etc.
Dueling TC is awesome I've done it once and am excited to do it again
Lilly Rose yeah it is, we got two ‘perfect duels’ on both sides of the track during our 8 rides we had on TC, and it was at night, freaking epic. And to end that day, we got a rain ride partial duel which was nuts. Duels are awesome, just did Lightning Racer at Hershey park, a pretty long GCI that starts off and ends dueling, and I couldn’t believe how awesome that was
#10 home park represent🤙🏻
my top 1 bucket list coaster is fury 325, and my second is any of the 3 rmc hybrids with the barrel roll drop, then millenium force
I just did Magnum last week. Talk about a rough ride!
Yep, so that's pretty much exactly my bucket NA bucket list. Only difference is I have Lighting Rod in there somewhere instead of either Coaster or Hades, thought idk which.
Two notable ones are Taiga at Linnanmaki and Hagrid's at IoA
