I love this approach! I play casual with my kids and love ideas to have pre-con decks that are flavorful but playable without having to spend 70 bucks on a single card 😂

@@SWUCUBE I had a blast last night. Played against your GI, Luke and Vader deck. I lost some and won some so it seems quite balanced. We had a blast yesterday and I convinced 3 of my friends to play more often with me :D Keep this series going as I'm looking forward to play more of your decks. You're the only one doing this thing out there.

Absolutely love this idea. I only play casually with buddies and have quite a few cards and was looking to make something along the lines of a Battle Box with some decks that are comparable to the starter decks, and this is great inspiration!

@@SWUCUBE Will do! I'm going to start with a Krennic vs Cassian pair to kind of hit the Rogue one vibes. Planning on doing Han vs. Boba after that, but I'm waiting on the new set because I want to lean into the Underworld vibe. I'm also looking at putting together your Thrawn and Hera decks, they look like a ton of fun!

I’m doing the same thing with Han. He is gonna love some smuggle cards and we’ll have an accessible Falcon which is a perfect finisher for the deck!
I have a Boba list (next vid) but I’m probably going to update him next set for sure.
@@SWUCUBE I'm still hammering out a few things with them (and haven't even started to playtest them, haha), but I'll send them your way as soon as they are done. I was pretty lucky in that I pulled a pair of K2S0s in the box+ boosters I bought back when stuff was easy to get, got a third on TCGplayer on release weekend because they were 2 or 3 bucks at the time. Hard to recommend them for a player trying to build casual theme decks when 2 cards will set them back 20 bucks though. On the other hand a Cassian deck wouldn't feel right without K2.
I think Han with smuggle will be perfect! I don't have a Falcon, so getting one that isn't 35 bucks sounds fantastic.

Diont know if this has been answered earlier, but are these decks only intended to play against the "original" starter decks, or could the also be played against each other?
They are all balanced to play well against each other. No deck is going to have perfect 50/50 matchups across the board, but my goal is to always be able to have fun and engaging games no matter the matchup.
