I’m building these decks when I return from Origins. I like the thematic aspect of how they are created. Very cool!
I hope you have as much fun with them as I have!
I have been taking another look at this with the release of set 2. I think the big inclusions would be Wanted Insurgents, Valiant Assault Ship, and the Desperado Freighter. I also like Heroic Resolve, Cripple Authority, and the Hotshot Blaster from red. From yellow, I LOVE Let the Wookiee Win. I also like Coruscant Dissident & Fugitive Wookiee. Reckless Gunslinger & Criminal Muscle would be interesting inclusions to further build out the 1 drops. And Enfys Nest/Cloud Rider would be possibilities (as they might be tied to the Partisans lore wise).
Finally, Cassian unit himself would be the BEST inclusion but I know we try to stay away from leader/unit combos. Lots of good stuff for this deck out of Set 2.
Insurgents would be great. Yea, so many really good inclusions and different directions Cassian could go!
I built Cassian with inspiration from your videos and it was very close to your Cassian, I went with Catacombs of Cadera for the double aggression on Saw and Rallying cry. after watching your video I swapped a few cards around but left the double Aggression.
I’d love to see your list! Tbh I’ve been thinking about taking Cassian in that direction after SotG drops!

I considered this as well but I feel losing access to Surprise Strike, Rogue Operative, and Snapshot Reflexes is a pretty big deterrent for access to Saw & Rallying Cry without penalty. Playing Rallying Cry @ 5 seems reasonable as I would only include 1-2 and would view it as a closer to squeak in the last bit of damage.
And remember, if you dont have K2S0 you can always use a Wampa at the cost of theme😢😂

No "For a cause I believe in" ?
I found it unsatisfyingly unreliable in testing as there are a fair few non-hits cards in the deck. It’s about as flavorful as can be and it could probably slot in as a 1x easily enough.
