I came looking for reviews on the stuff I recently purchased to see if I still made the right decision and I end up ordering stuff for a machine that hasn't shipped yet lol...I just placed my order for a couple things off your Etsy store! haha...
I've just bought the air assist and the riser base for my M1 (which is also pretty new to me). I wish that it wasn't so expensive to pay customs and postage charges to the UK as I'd have one of your Lakeshore kits in a heartbeat.
This is awesome! I plan on getting the riser and when I do I will definitely be ordering one of these kits from you. This is an excellent example of utilizing a 3d printer!
Kind of. Although, yes, you could throw any honeycomb grid under it. When using the rotary or engraving thick items, you would need to raise the M1. The honeycomb and air assist work better when the honeycomb isn't lying flat on a surface (the air needs somewhere to go).

You've got some great designs! Any recommendations for smoke escaping out the tops of the light shielding plates?

This is a great idea - well done! Just placed my order.
Thank you for your support! It's going out in the mail today.

Amazing Job! thank you for sharing, are you able to close the lid completely with the magnets in place on the new holders?
Yes, absolutely.
Do you keep your riser and air assist attached at all times? Very neat inventions and will be looking at ordering some soon.
Yes, I do. I also have other accessories, including some screw-down feet, to help with securing the riser to a table or piece of wood.
I still don't know what's the point of the riser. Is it only for using the rotary? Can't we just throw any honey comb grid without the riser?
