First of all congratulations Himanshu for your achievement. And Himanshu don't be upset that apke father nei sirf " Sabas kha". Haryana kei gao mei ase ho kha jata. Tum agar pradhan mantri bhi ban jate to ase hi Sabashi di jati.
Himanshu is indeed a dedicated student with potential.
Today, we are living in world of internet where education is accessible to all inpite of their cast or status.
Now , What we learn from his experience and from other ranker students
1. All ranker whether they join coaching or not are self motivated. And they do hardwork in disciplined manner.
Some people need "padle beta". So there parents send them to coaching hoping that they will study. Lakin jab tak bachha kud nahi chahe , use koi nahi pedha sakta coaching center wale bhi nahi.
2. In my views, 95 % students study from youtube ( Asish Arora sir channel, unacademy or similar resouces) inspite of the fact they join coaching. lectures available on ETOOS are of top brand coaching faculty for jee. So, now a days everyone can study if he/she wants. Only thing is that students is aware of from where he can study and which books he / she should follow.
2. Infact if you see the stats, during corona time 21-22 , all education was online. Marks vs rank in 2020 and 2021 were similar . In 2020 students were going to coaching centers and in 2021 everything was online.
Second fact : most of teachers alloted to most of batches( so called lower batch ) are not as good as NV sir. Neither students in these batches are given any personalized attention. Students who achieve something from these batches are because they want to achieve and for that they start exploring internet . So there is no loss if one is studying from online resouces with full dedication. What matters is dedication and hardwork.
Yes, for rank below 1000, one, in my opinion need some personalized attention
3. If a student is dedicated as Himanshu and financially family is not strong, then one can convince his/ her parents that that if they have 2-3 children , their books can also be useful to others siblings if they also prepare for jee or neet. And second hand books and study material is also available.
4. There is CSR scheme through which so called brand coaching center give free coaching to poor students if they clear their exam with good marks. And if students perform very good they put such student in their best batch , under mentorship of their best teachers. So, agar koi chahe to everything is possible.
Sir /ma'am ji, i searched on internet but couldn't find much about this scheme. I really need this. I came across many self study students on youtube but none of them ranked below 1000 but i dedicately aim that. My father is a zomato partner and we hardly manage our things. Please tell more about scheme, your words could make a great change in my life🙏🏻🙏🏻
I also tried scholarship tests and i got 50% scholarship also but still, their fee was more than a lakh for 2 year program which is impossible for me.
