Marc, whenever you’re done with this challenge please don’t stop doing poker vlogs of you playing at the table. I look forward to seeing these every week and don’t want to see them stop.

You want people to watch this. They learn a few simple plays and think they understand poker... then they blame bad luck for their losses. There's a hell of a lot more going into Marc's game than he shows in these videos.
@betadecay6503 he can totally go to the youtube membership platform for his education videos and I'd be in, leave the $100/hr challenge public with some other content. I've only gone from $0 to $200, so I'm not ready for HHP coaching, but the channels videos are great and worth a paid subscription or something.
Hey, you've been making me money :) Last night at my game, a younger player asked me "what do you have?" after flatting my SB squeeze from the cut-off, raising my flop cbet(Jd 10d As), betting small on the turn(9c), and then blasting river(9s) for most of my stack(2x pot.) I had Jc10s. He fucked up by saying: "what do you have?" in the exact tone you do. Factoring that he's a hungry horse viewer really changed things. It took me about 25 seconds to call. He showed me 6d 4d and seemed really defeated.
Your channel offers so much information and I’ve learned a lot. I’d say you’re a super pro and can hold your own against the best tournament or cash game players.
Looking a little tired on your way to Hustler's, Marc. I play horribly when tired. Thanks for the content.

2:41 Checking on the flop while out of position post-flop, despite him saying that he thinks he should've actually bet it, is what enabled him to get his entire stack in on the turn and win _what for me would be_ a massive pot. Dude just couldn't put him on an ace-X despite the rainbow of fruit flavors on the flop.
Question: I don't understand the new information graphics that you are using to show your stats. At 4:12 is the first graphic. It show Profit $900 on the left of the screen, in the middle of the screen is $1000 in green with an up arrow, and on the right of the screen is Session time 1:21. Why is the $900 profit different than the $1000 green arrow?

On 15:30 I would never try to fold an overpair on the 953 Flop, they raise the flop for protection but they will go all if needed. Actually is a good play against all the high cards hands you have.
27:19 the villan flashed his cards after Marcs river call and showed a 10 which would have given him a better two pair? no? can anyone explain if I'm wrong? or if the villan just mucked the winning hand for that pot?
YUCK!! The 42H hand is so what I am used to where I play. I am sure I am wrong, but I don't think he should be calling your three bet to $100 with that hand. Is it because he opened first? What am I missing? Was his play actually good and my folding button is too engaged? Situations reversed, do you call his three bet? Was it because of his position?
@@adayinthelifeofme5940 42s is not an open from any position except possibly BTN or SB and you have a big skill edge on opponents. It's a terrible open and worse to call a 3bet out of position (in position still terrible). Play like Marc not his opponents and actually play a bit tighter than Marc... He can open any 2 cards on the button because he has a massive skill edge over his opponents and won't hesitate to overbet and put all the money in with nothing to get his opponents to fold. There's plenty of resources for pre flop ranges, Marc has a video Preflop Bible something also.
Could someone explain at 5:30 how Marc bet 700? Im trying to learn pot calculating for a home game I run, and that seems like too much. I thought pot would be 600 in that situation? Thanks!
@ 9:58, what are you doing? You have to defend bottom two pair there. I've noticed that you're playing passively in some spots where you can either get value or knock out some draws you end up losing to. I've only seen this in your last couple of videos.
Do you offer any courses? I enjoyed this series a lot because it’s exactly what I play 1/3 or 2/5. It just felt so streamlined and easy to learn. Please let me know, thanks.
Damn we didnt get the "Have a gentle day" in the end... Mark going through it..... Just remember the intro song OG.... "Down Bad, Bounce Back, Boy Im Different!!!"""" 💯
I'm confused on the last hand. If we have kings in this situation, and we are the pre-flop aggressor, they call the 100$, in what world are they playing 4-2. I understand that its suited, but to call a 4x raise and to not be in position with 43 Hearts is wild. If that was the start of the session, would you consider then not playing hands against this guy? Or would you try and exploit his wide openings and 3 bet calls. It's not even like he was getting a great price either! Awesome video as always, I'm feeling way better about playing poker now especially with your other videos. Also is it better to be deep stack at 1/3 nl or buy in for half ? I've never bought in deep and i seem to lose more.
Villian wins top board with full house and hero & villan both chop bottom board with straight. Hero doesnt have a higher straight because he has to play 7-10 for straight. J-10 doesnt make straight.
I would assume the higher level of play the more variance will overwhelm the skill gap between players. Once you are playing close to pro optimal you are essentially gambling when playing other pros.
I check raise the turn pretty frequently with my draws when I don't hit, is that a mistake? Example, check call OOP with a flush draw, turn is a brick, I check raise as a bluff, bomb every river.
Depends on villains size and their preflop range. If you think they’re over folding since wrather their preflop range is wide and they play straightforward and passive / a super nit and only call you with the 🥜 I think check raising turn when they lead small might generate enough fold equity to justify. On the other hand, if the villain is a competent aggressive player their range is uncapped so they could have anything and defend enough/ if the opponent is just a call station this bluff is prob -EV. In general, I think check raising on the flop rather than call on flop and raise on turn with a brick would be better since check raising on the flop uncaps your range and villain will need to fold more when you continue on the turn
37:00 I was in a sorta similar spot my last session. Had kings 3 ways out of position, HJ opens for $100 and CO shoves for about $400, board was like Q,9,5 and it felt just so much like a set or two pair with HJ putting me on AA, KK, or AK and trying to take me to value town. I laid down my kings and CO claimed he did have a set of 9s and later in the session mentioned his set of nines again when I lost a hand to him, so im pretty sure he was telling the truth. Now this may not be a profitable fold long term and probably was poorly played.
