A great question that lends itself perfectly to talk about tenses and modes - so Indikativ & Konjunktiv - in German. When do we use what and why? I tried to clear it up. The Konjunktiv 1 wasn't a topic here, but I already made a video on that one at least - I think that would have overloaded the topic, anyway.
