This reminds me of the concept for Everquest 3. Lots of building/open world/community building and eventually adding in creatures to fight and such. The only exception was that to get higher level craft items, you went to a portal to go to that level to harvest said items. Had to upgrade axe/pick, etc. to higher levels, just to be able to gather said items as well. Game certainly looks interesting and very chill.
I would have to wait for it to be on super sale or simply lower the price. As much as I'm liking everything so far....I can't pay $40 for basic early access.
Oooh Everquest Next! Yes, I was very sad when they cancelled that. I was a big fan of EQ1 and 2, so had high hopes for it, especially with the introduction of a voxel based world. Shame that vision never came to fruition.. Hopefully their next attempt will have better luck!
Looks like a solid game, though I'm not a big fan of MMOs personally. Still, great watch.
Yeah, like I said in the video, I tend to play a lot of MMOs solo, almost as if they just single player games. But I do like the hustle and bustle of other players and some of the worlds are fun to explore! 😊
I was not impressed with my initial play through
It's certainly not for everyone. I think it still has a lot of content that needs to be added, but the foundations are solid. Just hoping the devs can attain their goals!
