  • Hello, my friends and fellow developers!
    In this video, we cover how you can participate in Hacktoberfest and contribute to open source! We will get into the details of Hacktoberfest and what is different this time...
    Let me know in the comments below if you want more open-source content or something else.
    Hacktoberfest is DigitalOcean’s annual event that encourages people to contribute to open source throughout October. Much of modern tech infrastructure-including some of DigitalOcean’s own products-relies on open-source projects built and maintained by passionate people who often don’t have the staff or budgets to do much more than keep the project alive. Hacktoberfest is all about giving back to those projects, sharpening skills, and celebrating all things open source, especially the people that make open source so special.

      You can definitely go on with React and JS. That's what I did. Later on I learned TypeScript and that became my primary language...

    If I contribute in a repo that has less stars like 10 and less forks will it be counted (it has the hacktoberfest tag)?

      @MaxProgramming  8 месяцев назад +1

      Even if it has 0 stars, and it contains the "hacktoberfest" topic, it will be counted. When your PR is accepted/merged, and it isn't spam
