Disconnect the battery earth. Then put a cloth between the earth terminal and the body. Use a jump wire from the battery positive to the disconnected earth cable. This will allow all the ECU's to drain any power stored within the ECU. Suggest a minimum of 10 minutes. This procedure is the same as a full reset. There are videos on this channel that show you the steps I have just mentioned. Hope this helps, I am also struggling with the same problem with my 2012 Focus. Hi. Mk3 Focus Titanium. I have replaced the head unit. The Bluetooth works on voice call but doesn't work on the aux player. I can't play music etc.
