I've been a fan ever since I was a kid and the only way I could listen to the songs was by holding the speaker to the family computer close to my ear. Digital Daggers songs have always been, and still are, my escape. I have so many sad moments, lonely moments, moments of emptiness, moments of peace and quiet intertwined with the songs...and now when I listen to these songs on my phone they give me the warm, familiar embrace of someone very close. Songs like these are lifelong companions, like that.
More recently, I've been on a journey to heal and move on. This is sort of "my theme song." I think this may simply be one song to describe what I'm feeling.
This song goes from a quiet, dark beginning to a powerful voice and "push" of the song. I LOVE IT! ;) Then at the end the song just ends, leaving you in a blank stance as you think about what's the meaning of life. It's an amazing song and I wish Digital Daggers would make more.
They have plenty of other songs. The one that brought me here was Still here by Digital Daggers.

I've known about this band for about 4 years now. I'll listen to it a lot within a week, then forget it exists for a few months. I don't know what it is, but something always brings me back to it, and every time, it feels like I never stopped in the first place. It's all too familiar. Even if I've changed over the years, this band has always stuck with me

This was the first Digital Daggers song I ever heard. I think it was auto-generated on a Glitch Mob Spotify playlist, of all things. I was studying at the time, but I remember stopping what I was doing to listen to the song. It was so captivating to me. I think this is one of the only bands to ever have that effect on me, and I really don't know where I'd be right now if I hadn't had this music to fall back on in my hours of need.

This song speaks to me on every level. I've been more self-aware this past year, and all I think about are all my worst mistakes or other mistakes that have affected me. All in attempt to understand why I am where I am in my life and why I think and feel and act the way that I do. Incredible song.

I want to cry when I hear this song. No song ever before this one represent my feeling, my life, my head, my anxiety. My life will change in not a long time and be better with my boyfriend. But I feel like this is not real and the past keep pulling me back. Had a fucking nightmare and not a life 27 years. Almonst flee away, my brain too scared about hoping and actually see everything fell again. But I fight my fears, and even if my brain don't want to believe it. I know everything will be better now. Don't lose hopes people, even if this is fucking hard.

**EDIT (11 July 2021):** To anyone reading this who feels the same way, it gets better. Take your time, you can get through this. If you think no one believes in you, you're wrong, because I do. Look at all of what you've already survived, and how far you've come. You are so strong, and someday, you're going to be able to look back and be so glad you kept fighting.
I have a feeling people who are here probably use music to cope, so I'd like to recommend Icon For Hire. They have a lot of songs with similar themes to this, but with a more determined-to-survive attitude. I'm not exaggerating when I say that music saved my life, and one of their songs was what made me decide to keep fighting.
Self-harm isn't good for you, obviously, and there are other ways to cope that are better, but I remember where I was when I related to this song, and I know it was the best way I had at the time. Do what you need to keep yourself alive, but work towards healthy ways to deal with the worst parts of life, so you can experience the good parts and the happiness that you deserve.

I was so stuck in the past. Still pining over an old friend who left. The songs fit perfectly into the puzzle of my existence. And I still consider them to be some of the greatest songs of all time
