In order to get the playes on a vet minimum on day 1 of the regular season you have to free up a roster spots. See what positions the free agents you want are. And then switch people positions on your team to empty out that position. If you want a good free agent pg you have to switch the pgs on the rosters position to something else. Put fill roster on automatic and Sim the day. They usually get you the top free agent of that position available for the minimum. You could do that for multiple positions at a time.
Another great episode, love this series so far. Definitely like that you're taking things a little slower, building as you go, and not throwing assets at the wall. It makes it feel a bit more organic.

Kenny you should go into your roster and edit everyone’s accessories/shoes to make it more realistic. Even things like short length and headbands make a huge difference on the visual of the player

I think the gameplay is more engaging when u control the shot meter. Makes it more fun that its all on u to hit the shots even when the cpu aint acting right. First half of this game was tough
Yea but is it engaging to watch the cpu miss everything cause they don’t time there shots correctly. I think sacrificing him timing his shots so the cpu actually puts up good games and doesn’t just shoot lates and early releases makes it way more engaging. If he uses shot timing the cpu literally never makes anything.
You can tell Kenny cares because of how many times he goes out of his way to try and make his videos realistic and fun. Thanks man you’re the best ✊🏻
