Hey there, I've been playing Prominence on and off since late 2023 and I just recently found your prominence playthroughs and have really enjoyed them! I am also much more of an explorer/adventurer than a builder so it's nice watching someone who plays the game at a similar pace. The modpack is so vast that I've even learned a lot of helpful things about it from watching you, and I hope I can return the favor by sharing some things I've learned along the way if it would help. For example, the cloud thing at 58:51 is a sky node from Archon, which has materials you can use to make sky-related magic weapons (Like a sky wand or thunder staff) that utilize those spells you find in those spell tomes in village chests, etc. And instead of ultimine for when you go mining, you can craft cheap hammers that mine 3x3x1 block areas which you can upgrade with materials over time to mine up to 5x5x5 areas (just incase you weren't already aware). Great job so far and I'm really looking forward to this series!
Btw idk if anybody wrote it but I think the "append item mod id" in the emi settings is the thing for show the mod name what you have your mouse on at 1:32:06 And I'm so happy you started Hasturian Era :D (sadly I can't really watch streams) I was always waiting for the prominence videos it's good to see more of this modpack
Omg me too! I just started and I beat the mine cells dungeons and I don't wanna read a wiki so I'm gonna reference this while I'm at work so I know what to do when I get home lol
@ I am having an amazing time playing it with my son! He wanted Minecraft as his reward of choice for straight As and insisted I play with him. Well, I couldn’t get into vanilla Minecraft so I browsed the mod packs until I found prominence. Let’s just say now my wife is fussing at me for playing too much Minecraft and being a bad influence on him cause we don’t want him no lifing videogames 😂 It’s super confusing and I’m in way over my head, but one thing I love about it is that no matter what I’m doing or how long i play it’s all progression. Ive already started on your older series you mentioned for prominence cause while it might be outdated, I’m POSITIVE there’s info there that will be useful lol Thanks again!

No joke, me too! I used to mod before CurseForge launcher and my temporary roommate is trying to get me into the create mod and this was one of his suggestions for modpacks to try. "Belladonna" is the latin species name of the deadly nightshade plant. It comes from the distilled juice of the berry being used as an eydrop to dilate the pupils and uh... make courtesans look more interested than they were. Unfortunately if they used it frequently it could also make them blind 😢. Like all other nightshades, it does have small white flowers but that isn't why it is cultivated so it isn't really "a flower". If I was a flower, I would be a Siberian Iris.
(1:14:23) when you changed teh map to show the caves you set the layer level it looks like, it wasnt showing the caves in the monastary as you are at y level 141 so too high for them ^>^ much excite for this series ^>^ cant wait to see all the squirrels you encounter while playing. much love you amazing golden retriever you XD

I think adding mods like the music mod, or anything like that that doesn't affect gameplay at all is perfectly fine even within the challenge you've set yourself. Changes nothing of the game, just means you'll have music when the Hasturian horrors come for you xD
i'd be a viola 'black delight'! they're so very pretty & i hope to get some to hang beautifully in the garden. belladonna is classified as a herbaceous plant, but it does have flowers that bloom so beautifully.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or you figured it out, (still watching the video) but you can hold shift while chopping trees to cut them down normally; 1 block at a time!
Compass is available after defeating first 3 bosses, or optionally defeat both lich king and decaying king and then nether gauntlet so you can get explorer's before enderdragon. The nature's compass is locked due to being able to create a rather powerful weapon by finding a mangrove swamp and having a totem of undying. And lastly, incentivizing exploration. The trophies are quest rewards for bosses in void's invasion questline.
Wanted to find a series on the modpack, especially a more relaxed one. Will definitely stick around for a bit and see how the playthrough goes ^^ Since I haven't seen the prior series, I would love if you could explain some mods when you get to them a bit more, though I also understand if that's going to be annoying. If I could be any flower, I'd either go for a snapdragon or a hydrangea!
Once Blood DKs lost the ability to Dual Weild weapons I totally stopped playing them until Frost. When WotLK came out, I hit max lvl and was Dual tanking dungeons like a BOSS lol. I was a GOD. but I hate 2h so yeah..... I went frost.
