- BBC One: Rhythm & Movement Idents - Part 20: Parodies
Our journey through the Rhythm & Movement idents of BBC One concludes! To round off, we take a look at a selection of the different parody sequences that were to arise from this era! Featuring contributions from French and Saunders, Peter Kay, and even rival channel, E4!
The Ident Review Extra began in the April of 2020 and embarks on marathons of several different ident sets from different channels! It's covered the 90s set from BBC2 and all of the different ITV regions, but now we're going through the Rhythm & Movement idents from BBC One!

I laughed harder than I should've seeing the globe balloon getting pulled over by a police balloon.
The ending of that e4 ident being an akward cut away from a fight cracked me up quite a bit.
Thanks for that journey!
Love the Peter Kay paradoy idents 😂👏🏻 He's just effortlessly funny ❤️
I laughed way too hard at the guy in the purple suit shuffling across the floor like a slug! 😂
There was one from the BBC TV pilot of Dead Ringers where the bungie jumpers cord was cut by a parody of Greg Dyke.
Those are indeed fun parodies from the set.
Thanks for putting the one I suggested on 😁
Man these parodies are funny, I never seen these before in a lifetime!
Love this Adam!
4:50 glad I wasn’t the only one to notice
1:22 BBC Two on BBC One
Yes, there were quite a lot of parodies for this set, weren't there..
And there was also the Ben Elton balloon parody as well from a few years before.

Happy birthday to the BBC!
There are parodies of the BBC One Lens idents. The one I remember was a fruit one.
I'm pretty sure Dead Ringers also did a Acrobat parody at one point as well
FYI: the monkeydust ones are Say Gex backwards...
Could you do the Tardis one next that played before rose its a special idents
The peter kay one i can remember
Am I dreaming? But did the Peter Kay Sketch feature on hip hop video you review?
Where can I find the original video of the Balloon idents spoofs ?
What's coming now on the IR Extra?
Great I dents
Aren’t most of these idents lost media? (Balloon, E4 except Ballet, French & Saunders)
New amtv on birthed day
Are you going to jump into the CBeebies bandwagon?
