They're beautiful Louise! You come up with such amazing ideas. I love the green pendant and the green and pink set. Green is my favourite colour, so those made me smile. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. 💚💚💚
That was very educational. Thank you! I love that you had no plan and just did it. Learning from mistakes is a lot better for growth than trying to be perfect from instructions. I'm a woodworker and I rarely use plans. I just put things together, stand back and look, see what's missing, and do that. I've made some great pieces. Going with your gut doesn't always work, but if you have that experimental mindset, you can always figure out a way to fix something that doesn't work correctly. I get that you like the disposable sponges, but a better option for those fine details would be a detail paint brush. You can get liner brushes very thin. You'll just have to be judicious about cleaning them promptly. You may also be able to get cheap eyeliner brushes in bulk and they will likely be just as cost effective as the disposable sponge brushes.
That secret green one at the end was my favorite! The pink and green are great too. I just love those colors together. The black is nice, just not my asthetic. It does look like a cool stone
😮😊 Great video! This was so informative and wonderfully narrated. The step by step was easy to follow. Your creations are absolutely gorgeous. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
Louise, WOW!!! Absolutely 💯 LOVE how you have taken us through your learning journey, step by step, very clearly. I learnt SO MUCH from this tutorial, thank you so much!!! Your jewellery is absolutely gorgeous and has me very excited to try out aquacast for the first time. Your designs are just gorgeous and those colours are soo beautiful. I really love the pink and green the best but thats a really tough call Lou, they are all truly stunning! ❤ Thankyou so much for taking the time to create such a beautifully filmed, edited and narrated tutorial for us. You really do care about your viewers, thank you. I hope you have a most wonderful Christmas and sending love to your precious Mum. 💗 ❤ Hugs from Western Australia.
Ooooh! I LOVE these ideas, Louise! 😊😍 I have always liked pink and green together...very sweet ensemble. They're all beautiful! That last piece...chef's kiss! 😘 It's my favorite, too. Wow! I really like natural stones, polished so that their beautiful colors show up. The colors you chose worked SO well in the aqua cast. 👍💕 Thank you for another wonderful video!
Those are all really wonderful! I love the green and pink together! I also really love the deign of the others that you made. I think those are my favorites. I love that unique marbly effect that you got with them.
I always look forward to your videos. Your work is not the run of the mill crafts I see everywhere else. So beautiful. I was thinking you could use polymer clay as well. The bezel would act as a cookie cutter to cut into the clay and set it into the bezel.
There is a lot of information in this video 😊. As a beginner to resin (never heard of Aquacast b4), I love you showed us the beginning, the mistakes with corrections, and the beautiful results when you finished. Lots of explanations & hints, which other videos can lack. Overall, an A+ video in my opinion. Thanks!
❤😊🎉wow Lou, those pieces are amazing ! Love all of them, absolutely stunning. It was so interesting, I was so carried away the coffee I was desperate for is untouched and now cold! I just couldn't look away fora second. Lots of love and thanks to you ❤ 😊
As usual, great tutorial. You always make it so easy to follow step by step , I really enjoy wire wrapping the bezels they are so easy to do love the process its so therapeutic, love the natural stone effect
Absolutely 💯 gorgeous !!! I love them all. The marble effect is beautiful & the pink & green is amazing !! I’ve watched 2x & saved this video. I hope to give this a try !! Louise you make everything look so easy & the projects you come up with are incredible !! What a true artist you are !!! Thank you so much for sharing & caring
E6000 glues everything to everything. I've never had it fail be it metal to metal, clay to glass, fabric to wood, wood to metal, metal to glass, wood to glass ... everything in any combination. It's awesome.
Omfg can you imagine how much even more beautiful that second set would of turned out if you put down some gold leaf before you poured the stuff in??? Omg the outcome would of been drool worthy!! 🤤🤤🤤 Lol But not a lot of leaf just like 2 maybe 3 tiny little pieces! It would of popped even more then it already does!! But these turned out gorgeous hopefully you do more and add some leaf next time! Lol thanks for sharing hun and gope you have a great sunday!! 😊😊
So beautiful! I've been making my own bezels for the last couple months, but certainly not as elaborate as yours. I use UV resin for my jewelry as it works well with multiple colors, where I can cure them under the lamp individually. You have inspired me to branch out with the wire wrap of the bezels. Thanks!
Lovely. Love the marble effect you achieved with the second set. I’d love to see if you can take the cloisonné kind of effect of the first set a little further. Mostly for selfish reasons. I love cloisonné.😊
Louise, I wonder if it might be easier, and cheaper, to use hot glue. You could make a pool of glue and press the brass into it. It would still have the same effect of locking the jesmonite(sp?) in, but it wouldn't take up space inside the piece of jewelry, and my block the leaks better. The hot glue won't stick to the duct tape very well so it will be easy to peel off. You could keep your extra detail like in the first set that way as well I think.
Oh my! These are gorgeous! Had to order the brass to make some myself! Thank you for sharing! Just had a thought! Do you think you could add mica powders to the aqua cast? I think it might show up when you sand it and add the resin?
Newbie to resin here my dad just told me that uv resin could also cure under the sun is that true and if so how long do you have to wait for it to cure 😊
OMG LOUISE THOSE ARE BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL 😮😮❤❤❤ YOUR TALENT IS BEYOND WORDS
They're beautiful Louise! You come up with such amazing ideas. I love the green pendant and the green and pink set. Green is my favourite colour, so those made me smile. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. 💚💚💚
These are super Louise ..and if you look closely on a couple of the pieces you can make out shapes ..magic 👍👏❤️
All are absolutely gorgeous, super well done Louise! 😃
Another gorgeous work of art. I love how explained thoroughly in all your videos. Greatly appreciated 😊

Very useful. I’d never heard of Aquacast. Might give that a try.

I think these are beautiful!
Those are beautiful!
Wonderful work ❤
genius! gotta get me some bezel wire!
All the pieces are really pretty and the "stone"-effect looks so realistic...well done !!! 🙂
Fabulous ❤❤❤
Beautiful!

I bought a set of mandrels for wire and it really helped me make some gorgeous pieces! Best $10 I ever spent 💞

Beautiful ❤❤had to buy the bezel wire to try it out!
gorgeous

Great video and wonderful pieces. Does this work as well just using regular resin other than the curing times of course.
Oh my! These are gorgeous! Had to order the brass to make some myself! Thank you for sharing! Just had a thought! Do you think you could add mica powders to the aqua cast? I think it might show up when you sand it and add the resin?
Want a go now 😁. Where do you get your brass bezel wire from?
Rather than not filling the whole way up, would pouring first the green, then the rose separately have worked?
👍🏻
These look great. Never used aqua cast. Might give it a go. However I was also looking at resincrete. Which is best?
You could have let the Aqua cast set up before applying the next color.
Newbie to resin here my dad just told me that uv resin could also cure under the sun is that true and if so how long do you have to wait for it to cure 😊
Is this product plaster?
Looks to me like the watermelon tourmaline, they tried to sell me as a pendant ! W
