2:19 Cargo ramp, or just ramp.
2:23 Thats the HF (high frequency) antenna. Real thing is nowhere near strong enough to be a railing of any sort.
2:42 Those are the pitot masts, which measure airspeed.
5:29 Not extra fuel tanks, your thumb is on the equipment pod. The actual fuel tank starts at those double lines underneath the first round cabin window and extends back to the double panel lines just before the chaff dispensers. The extended range fat-tank models have two fuel tanks, one on each side, while the normal range birds have six tanks, three per side. A single extended range fat-tank has the capacity of all six tanks on a regular -47.
This looks like a copy of the Italeri/Trumpeter 1/72 kit, because all the inaccuracies on the aft pylon are still there. As modeled, its a mashup of the CH-47C & D aft pylon, with 6 smaller vent panels on top and two vent panels on the side. The F model only has one long vent panel on top, and none on the side.

I used to live near a military base on the Kent coast in Britain and these things used to fly over sometimes in groups of two or three. The noise they make is crazy. I wouldn’t like to be on the wrong end of one I know that.

The “rail” is the HF antenna. The “antenna” are pitot tubes.

Should have included a flight Engineer too 😢 we were required to in addition to two pilots to take off. Cool video. The regular Chinooks have the tanks on the side too the “Super D” had the fatties though.
