Gen 2 Front DRL Daytime Running Lights LED Halo Fog Lights
Here is a brief installation video for these as we have been asked many times, there is a few different ways to do it but this is how we have done it. The lights do come with installations and we do still recommend professional installation.

I wired mine directly back to fuse 44 I think it is so they come on with the ignition and work as DRL lights, I then run the white wire into the sidelight wiring with the white at the control box going into green meaning the halos dim when you put the sidelights or headlights on. So they are at full brightness with the ignition on and act like sidelights and dim when you put the sidelights on.

Question : to get them to dim when the side/main lights where switched did you just connect (interconnect) the short flying leads at the box.. think there are 3. ie Green and white short leads.

@@HUFFYANDERSON43 I can’t remember which colour on the box but connect one to the side light wiring so when there’s power to the sidelights it dims the rings so they basically become the sidelights. I think it’s the white wire.

You know there’s an easier way to have them as DRLs, just tap into the side lights like in the video, then code it to act like a DRL. I used the BimmerCode app

So. Where is the Parking lights now?
Can you turn them of and only have the Low beams on?
It's illegal in Sweden to have low beam and DRL together

parking lights are still there. When you turn them on, only the top half of the halo lights up
