Obedience is never easy but worth in the end. We have great examples in the Bible to inspire us.

One of the most hurtful things that I realized this season I'm currently going through is if I'm willing to lose family members and siblings because my family are Catholics and that religion is work based not fully putting faith in God alone yes I'm scared of their reactions and losing relationships with them especially with my parents but losing jesus is even more terrifying I'm stuck please pray for me 😭💔

I hardly write comments but you touched my heart. Dearest, the Lord will not separate you from your family. I, myself, was raised in the Catholic church and my family members are hard core Catholics. When I started feeling 'hungry' for more..more relationship with the Lord He made it that my family saw the transition and the work that the Lord was doing in me before I even told them. Although, I didnt flat out tell them what/how I was feeling inside, I didn't keep my whereabouts a secret. For example, if I am going to be out for few hours for Bible study and fellowship, I d let them know. When I used to visit other churches, I told them abt my experience. When they experienced heartaches, I prayed with them, quoted scriptures ect. So it became apparent to them that something was happening and by showing them the true picture, the Lord allowed them to be prepared emotionally while I was transitioning. Dont be afraid! The devil will put fear in you and try to have you disobeying God. Look at it this way, it is not like you are abandoning them. You are just chosing to worship and have a relationship with God differently than them - that's all. In fact, every now and then I take my mom to church and assist mass with her -- to keep her company. I go to my new church first though loool 😁 and she is just fine!!!
@@newchapter4339 yeah but it's hard bc we have to tell them that the catholic church is not biblical how did you tell your family? Especially if they're really passionate about the virgin mary and saints 😥
Wow, I've had this video in my phone for 3+ months and I was never drawn to it, instead I just downloaded it because I just love Stephanie Ike man. Damn God's timing is just so great. Listening to this today after 4 months of not attending to it because back in 4 months, I was not in the situation she's preaching about... I know for sure I wouldn't have finished listening to the video and instantly delete it. But today I'm in the situation of what she's preaching about and it's honestly just God speaking me through Stephanie. Thank you God and thank you for your lovely messenger Stephanie, Amen❤️

Trust and believe in God's sense of humor! There has been an idea He placed in my heart for a while, today I was so discouraged when I was seeking advice from a church mentor. Their vision for the idea differs so much from the impression that was placed in my heart. It was eating me up the whole day! I landed on this word so perfectly after praying for direction! I will not be afraid to follow my conviction no matter how unfavorable it may seem. For the people it will reach and can only do so if done in full obedience!
