that's what happens when you wait til there's 1 year left on the deal... I feel like a couple years from now this trade will be looked at as a win for both teams tbh
@@BURDENS1 Thunder have like 30 picks in the next 5 years you telling me you couldn’t get 1 or 2 picks for your best asset. Also Caruso likely will get an extension done with the Thunder. Giddey is a solid player but probably a fringe all star at best if you’re being optimistic. I’d be upset if I was Bulls fan.
@@MelloWyatt yea it's a misstep and bad negotiating but in general we're enamored with picks these days when in reality taking the shot on Giddey if you believe in his potential is not the tragedy people are making it out to be. The tragedy was them not realizing when to trade Zach and DeMar , to the point where Caruso became their best asset. I'd be much more upset about that than taking a chance on Giddey. It was also dumb for them not to extend Caruso themselves and try to find a deal after but maybe they tried who knows.
@@MelloWyatt I'm also just a bigger believer than most in Giddey's ceiling as a scorer so maybe I'm way off but if you telling me I got a fringe all-star for a guy that was gonna leave next year? I'll take that over some mid to late 1sts... While acknowledging they could've got more
