We have opened our channel to share our passion for this wonderful hobby with you and at the same time help more and more people to get closer to the game. Every day we spend most of our free time engaging in creating interesting and easy-to-follow videos. We like to listen to our community and we have big plans for our channel for the near future, but carrying this project forward and supporting ourselves financially is not easy since, as you well know, this hobby is extremely expensive. We will continue to commit all the free time we have to the channel, but our dream is to make this hobby what we do for a living. It would be truly wonderful if we succeeded in this intent. so, if you believe in our project like us, if you want to help us and you have the possibility, consider donating here:
    www.buymeacoffee.com/tabletopwarband
Of course it is not an obligation, we will continue to produce videos for you for free here on RUclips by doing the best we can. But if you feel you want to thank us, helping us to lighten the economic expenses, then it would be wonderful!
    Thank you all very much!
    Simone and Andrea

I like the idea of Kroot models painted with hints of the colors of a rival player's Tyranid army. Skin for skin, carapace for spikes. With the idea that the Kroot have been munching on the enemy between battles.

Thank you for not using contrasts! LOL I for one dont care for them. Hard to find tutorial vids these days without contrasts. Subscribed!

Yeah contrast colors are ok sometimes but I prefer so much more the normal paints.
Thank you for the sub! ^^

Just got my murder chickens assembled and will definitely put your advice to heart! Though would it be possible, I wonder, to do different sorts of lizard skin tones? The Carolina five line skink, for example, seems to provide a nice lizardy black/green and would suit Kinbands who really pour on the stealth and shipboard assault contracts.

Oh yes for sure! Yours are the models, yours are the rules! ^^ Particular skins make the squad even more interesting!

How do you get faded, greying out cloth?

    • @TabletopWarbands
      @TabletopWarbands  Год назад

Just with light drybrush over a darker color ^^

@@TabletopWarbands Aha nifty, I might need to polish the surfaces a bit... drybrushing always gets these little speckles that drives me nuts haha. Micro bumps you can't see with the eye I guess

@@ErgonomicChair yeah sometimes happens to me as well, it's annoying!

@@TabletopWarbands I am also goign to try to avoid contrast paints as much as possible, I want to build up some skills and have a biiit more control over things. I know how to do Tau armour etc pretty well but yeah my skill on flesh is like, notihng haha.
I might start the project off doing my carnivores over again, I got an utlra sonic cleaner and two litres of Simple Green! Haha.
That and I am re-kitbashing and adding onto my carnivores, I am also cutting their arms and legs to increase their height to be more in line with the Farstalkers.

@@ErgonomicChair nice idea on practicing normal paints, it's really important!

I like the tutorial and it was pitched well to mid level painting tasks. About the right length and depth of explanation. The camera needs to be much closer to the model to make it easier to view the painting in progress. Good luck I look forward to seeing what comes out from this channel in the future.
