I fcking love this video. It's a pretty simple painting vid but the earnestness of it has made me want to paint my own models again, which I've not actually done properly for a few years since I lost my Dad. So thank you for that mate, plus the Mum joke made me actually cackle out loud 🤣 I expected a number-related joke too, there was a pause after you said it...but I think you thought better of it, lol
Love the challenge but I'd never get done in a day! I'm now trying to come up with colours using your method but with greens for the coats to tie in with my cadians. Love the videos and can't wait for the commissar kit bash
Awesome :) i think this is where this method is strong, you could do the same stuff but switch out the light brown slap chop for a light green slap chop
@@LizardofDoom For unique, Im thinking like unusual bases, so maybe alien looking bases with purple, orange or blue plants etc, or a base thats has shallow water being treaded through, maybe also an ash covered base with white and dead plants.Would also love to see how to make a detailed base for more elite units.

yeah a bayonet charge against a few times taller than a regular human made fully out of metal and even something stronger chaos knights is something that feels right only when you talk about Krieg ^^

Exactly what does the exposure to flame do for the plastic cement nozzle? Im very intrigued by this, I even rewound to make sure I saw it correctly. Lol

@@LizardofDoomthanks mate. Do you still recommend to do the agrax + drybrush with my method? Also i didn’t understand the color on helmet-shoulders-gasmasks. You just left them black with black legion?
@@SteebRNR yeah the agrax would probably help blend the colours in to one and the dry brush will help bring out the highlights, I would of edge highlighted if I had more time. The helmets were left black but then the edges were done with a Light silver in a scratchy way much the same as the leather technique to make it look bashed about

For this paint job? Could probably go with the Zandri Dust then dry brush bone colours, the uniform would be a little lighter colour but not by much I think it’d still be good 🙂

I like your spraying stick I use an old bit of skirting board, I find the slopped edge makes it easier to pry minis of buy the base after spraying

If it’s completely blocked you can take the metal needle out and run it over a flame to burn off the blockage 🙂
