Sir , covishield is AstraZeneca vaccine developed by someone else not serum institute. Serum just completed trials in india
Thanks for the info Dear Dr Yax. What I understood was that Covishield is Indian version of Astrazanacea vaccine, which is manufactured locally by Serum Institute. Let's both check that again 🙏🙏

Why Covishield is preferred in our country? Though Covaxin has more efficacy(We have also been given Covishield)... Just a query sir!
It's not about preference. Actually it's a good strategy to have two different products. Efficacy, AEFI are not yet known fully. So which ever is found better will replace others. In Delhi Covishield is available thru Delhi govt hospitals and private sector whereas Covaxin is available thru Central govt hospitals n ESI.

Hello i did my RT-PCR test on 20th April and it is positive from 1st may covid 19 vaccination will be available for all. so for how many days/month should I wait to get vaccinated? will it be a problem if I take vaccination after 14 days completing of the covid 19 course? in short can covid 19 positive patients get vaccinated after completing 14 days and if no then how many days/month they should wait?
