I wouldn't like him to make reviews of p.p.g z episodes. Not to mention it's full of M.L.P. voices wich is another thing he likes seriously two for the price of one what more could you want?
I can tell you an episode I always hated as a kid that others liked. Never liked any Harold Smith family episodes. I didn't wanna see some loser in fuzzy red pajamas wielding a hairdryer. I wanted to see a crazy villain or quirky plot where the girls run from some cootie-spreading boy like Harry Pits.
The most notable thing about season 5 for me which I'm surprised you didn't mention was the return of the Rowdyruff Boys. The episodes that had them were some of the best ones to come out of that season in my opinion.
i loved their return episode! yeah some of the stuff they did was kinda icky but it’s still one of my favorite eps from the entire series oh, and also bubble boy was a good episode too

Suggestions, and without further computer knowledge it's all I got man.
His channel is what he wants it to be. He decided at the beginning that he was going to review the PPG reboot episode-by-episode. That's what he has been doing from the very start, and that's what people have been coming to this channel to watch. If you're tired of it, then watch something else. It's not like this is the only channel on RUclips. There are channels that do talk about things like MLP and anime. And for the record, he said when he made that Power of Four video that he intended to do proper reviews of each episode in the special once he got to them. The video he did when it first came out was a "first impressions" video, as is clearly stated in the TITLE OF THE VIDEO. His proper reviews go into much greater detail.

That is a very nice ranking list. To me, I like the older seasons for the humor, action and characters, but I like the newer seasons for the visuals. Though that's not to say that the older seasons have bad visuals, it is just better looking for the newer seasons in my opinion.
I notice after the movie that Tara Strong's voice has gotten deeper at that point because whenever Bubbles was either angry or crying she sounded like toot from drawn together whenever she was angry and timmy turner whenever she cried.
Best episodes over all Bubblevicious, Criss Cross Crisis, Simian Says, Ploys R us, the one where the townspeople have to save themselves, Riddle Him Diddle, Silent Treatment, Nuttin Special, Powerpuff Girls the Movie, Telephonies , Burglar Alarmed, The one where the gang green gang was in the Girls class, knock it off, the one with harold smith, the return of harold smith, jewel of the isle.
I love the original series, but this does make me think that bringing the Powerpuff Girls back without the original creator was in and of itself a bad idea.

@Rokenrol Bro 2019 it was terrible 😭 they removed some of the og villains and added new ones, and the new ones aren’t nearly _half_ as good as the old ones
I really like the episode with robin in it. Also no she isn't bland she was only in one episode they could have added more to her and made her a reoccuring character if they really wanted to.
Hey! I would like to hear your opinion about Substitute Creature. I think that episode stands out in more than one aspects. Too bad I don't really hear people talking about it. They probably find it boring. If I remember correctly, it was also in season 5 but in my opinion, it's one of the best (even if slightly disturbing/confusing) episodes in the show. By the way, I love your PPG content. ☺

That’s pretty rude.
Thank you for what you said about Stray Bullet! I always felt bad for not liking that episode while everyone else did. The idea of the girls having a pet is cool, but Bullet really didn't have any strong character to him before being thrown back to the forest. Also, this is a big pet peeve of mine, but I personally never liked cartoon squirrel talk. I just find it more annoying than actually humorous. P.S. thank you for liking my fanart on Twitter. I'll make sure to make more in the future ♡
1) bullet is a girl 2) its a squrrel what did you expect. Yet again Gary and Pluto have strong personalities, Gary is really smart while Pluto is a clumsy idiot.
I had honestly forgotten the show was on as long as it was. I was 11 when season 1 premiered and 17 when the show ended. By probably season 4 I was usually out working so I always missed the new episodes
unpopular opinion: ppg should’ve ended in season 4 with power noia (and the christmas special) as its last episodes. that way we wouldn’t have so much bad episodes. though that way we wouldn’t have others like aspirations and silent treatment
I only remember one episode from the later series of classic PPG vivid the City of Frownsville with Dexter's depressed uncle Lou Gubrious the incessant crying after five minutes made me change the channel ASAP
The Powerpuff Girls might not be perfect. It's got its flaws, but I'd say at its worse it's still better than the reboot at its best. Also another thing I've thought of. Considering the 6th season might be a bit better than season 5, maybe if the show had gone on for another season it would have gone back up in quality.
Hey you think you can do a review on the IDW CN comic Super Secret Crisis War which is a crossover between The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Ben 10 and Ed, Edd and Eddy.
Hey cool backgrounds!!! I actually watch the last 2 seasons the most because the first 4 seasons are good but I think they’re “clouded”. That’s the best way I could describe it. If you look at the animation from season 1 compared to season 5 the colors become more vibrant and the voices sound more clear. And yeah there are a lot more bad episodes in the last 2 seasons but they’re not all that bad. 💙💖 also Bubbles in the thumbnail!!!! 💙 also I love Aspirations. Favorite episode!!! 🤩 As for criticism.. I guess the zooming in of the still images at the beginning felt kinda stale?? I don’t know what it is but I’m sure you could find a way to spice up that aspect!!! 💙💖
It was very nice to hear your opinion about this topic. However, I can't to agree about this top. Firstly, I've always thought that season 6 has even less funny and entertaining episodes than season 5. But it can be just me, because most of those episodes are mixed in my head and I can't say for sure which one belongs to which season. Quite frankly, I was really surprised that in your opinion season one is the worst of the best. I really find it best. Sure, it can be a little bit rough, not all the episodes are very fun to watch, but for me it's the truth PPG season. Rough a litte bit, less censored, more violant. It's true classic and it's not a nostalgia what makes me think like that. I watched the Original PPG in summer of 2017 for the first time. Season 4 is also, in my opinion, locaed a little bit low in this top. I really liked most of 22 minute long. Some of them ofcourse could be shrinked to 11 minute but it was still a great experince. By the way, I thougt that Nuthin' Special was actually part of season 6. I even checked the wiki page and it say season 6. Now for the third season. I don't have much to say. It was good but nothing special. It has its chunks of great episode but... most of the episodes are not that touching than in other first 4 season. Last, but not least, season 2. It's my third personal best. dispite the fact that it has one my personal worst episode in these seasons it still has one of the best epidoses: Rainy Day Adventure, Stuck Up, Up, and Away and many others. Some of the episodes in my opinon even has the vibe of the first season. But others... they are still good mostly but... they are still not as great as the episodes from the firtst season. PS. It is stil a very great and enjoyable video.
Besides the main series, maybe someday you could discuss the music videos and bumpers related to PPG? It'd be cool to see a video on the marketing side of things, especially with all the creative stuff CN did at the time. You could even discuss the ones where they met up with characters from other shows. Some examples include the Super Friends crossover, or the City bumper where Prof. Utonium 'locked' his keys in his car and Ed, Numbah 1, and Mandy help him with it.

But then there's the"true"meaning of Christmas where our"heroes"commit:trespassing, property damage, animal cruelty, murder, frame for crime, bullying, and forcing their beliefs on someone else and to top it off 🎅:"bad kids should get presents" yeah both of these episodes are bad, but one if offensive to some the second is Bad in Every conceivable level to EVERYONE! One is insulting to sponge bob fans, But No One is safe from Ink Lemonade! It's fucked up and disgusting in EVERY ASPECT nothing appealing about it! The reboot is ink lemonade and p.p.g z is pet sitter pat.) I'm of course not saying that you have to like one just saying that one has less bad then the other.
In what universe are we living in where people liked cover up? Wasn't that the one where the girls just took something buttercup loved without her consent and tried to make it seem like buttercup was wrong? That's stupid if people like it!
i've been trying to compile my own top 10 heck 20 favorite original PPG episodes and alot of them are really hard to pick over others since the ones I do like I could place them just about anywhere making it hard to truly place them on a certain spot. Some I would even do a double episode just because of certain villains like Princess. If I had to exclude the Christmas holiday special, I would mention that under Honorable mention solely just for the flying fight segment and of course this version of Santa. Half the time I'd be concern if it's okay for me to like certain episodes that give off a mix message like Equal Fight episode or the Members Only club even thou it's my opinion. Anywho keep up the good work Shadow Streak.
I love the Superfriends episode it was so good, one of my favorite episodes and I like the Let's Go song also I like Robin she's a good friend of The Powerpuff Girls. Anyway would like to see a tier list for the both Powerpuff girls series and the specials and the movies or talk which Powerpuff girl is more powerful.
The last 2 seasons were definitely worse, but they still had some great episodes. Like Silent Treatment, Curses, Aspirations, Simon Says, Substitute Creature, Boys are Back in Town, Divide and Conquer, See me Feel me Gnomey, ‘Twas the fight before Christmas, and Powerpuff Girls Rule.
The ONLY thing that improved with Powerpuff and Dexter’s later on was the more mid-century art style change. Everything else was mostly below average. The one where the dad golfs for 3 minutes and the one where the mayor whines about toast the whole episode are almost unwatchable. I’d take both over 2016 Powerpuff any day tho
Down The Drain aired on February 7, 1993. The Odd Couple aired on December 26, 1993. Mirrorland aired on September 27, 1992. Give And Take aired on November 28, 1993. Farewell My Friend aired on October 31, 1993.
Season 3 would use Chemical X-Traction's Soundtrack, since the game was just releasing at that time, so genius. Unfortunately the game wasn't good on PS1 & N64
It's best to let it be. Craig called it a wrap originally because he felt they could go as far as they could and noticed it was getting stale in the later Seasons. And what do you know, every reboot/revival/special since then have been nothing but hit or miss affairs at best.
I’ve been meaning to do a DeviantArt piece on Powerpuff Girls episodes I dislike for different reasons: Because it’s dumb - Nuthin Special Because it’s disturbing - Sun Scream Because it’s mean - Town and Out Because of character derailment - A Very Special Blossom Because it’s pointless - Custody Battle Because it’s annoying - Toast of The Town For personal reasons - Girls Gone Mild BECAUSE I DON’T - Sweet n Sour
XxSolaris420xX If I can find a similar but good episode of any show, I might do a comparison piece between the two. You should see the comparison pieces I’ve done before on DeviantArt. I go by furikatsuma there, but once I have money for core membership, I will change my username to Jibanyachu.
@Rokenrol Bro 2019 What are you talking about? Blossom and Bubbles laugh at Buttercup when they find out that she uses a blanket to fight her insecurities and don't even try to hold back said laughter. They're then quick to take it from her completely the next day, expecting her to just get over it. And it ends off with Buttercup being forced by Blossom and Bubbles to give up her blanket when she eventually gets it back.
My own ranking: PPG's first season might be one of the strongest first seasons of a cartoon I've seen. Usually that's the rough and unpolished season where things don't feel as good because they're just setting up their foundation. With a couple of exceptions, every major villain got a very memorable and impactful introduction (minus the garbage Amoeba Boys and Fuzzy Lumpy's pink candy ass) and even the minor ones were great, the best one-off being the disco-loving Boogie Man. The second season is _slightly_ less good in my opinion. There were more forgettable episodes like Birthday Bash, You Snooze You Lose, Daylight Savings, and Too Pooped to Puff. It was also a little more mean-spirited with the girls behaving badly. We all remember Blossom stealing expensive golf clubs in A Very Special Blossom, but there's more. In Cover Up, Buttercup is arguably bullied into giving up her comfort object, a green blanket when Bubbles is allowed to keep Octi. Then she is literally thrown out of her house and nearly ran out of town simply for refusing to take a bath in Down 'n Dirty. Billy is beaten to a pulp even after rescuing the girls from an incoming train in Slave the Day. And their behavior in Too Pooped to Puff was inexcusable. Trying to make ordinary people stop a monster attack on their own just because the girls were tired is just too much. What if somebody got hurt? The third season is an improvement, even though you still got a few _major_ duds like Moral Decay (mean-spirited all around), Equal Fights (far too preachy), and Fallen Arches (seriously Blossom, what the hell? You suck.). The infamous Town 'n Out is also in Season Three. The girls still have their "naughty" episodes, like Candy is Dandy and Ploys 'R Us, but the comedy usually overrided the meanness. Seriously though Professor, making your daughters believe you were gunned down by the police just to teach them a lesson about greed was a bit much. And I felt really bad that Mojo got the worst beating of his life over a jar of candy. There's also more teasing between sisters. Mocking Bubbles over her glasses was a bit much, even though I get she looked funny with big old bug-eyes. Teasing Blossom over her botched hair was even crueler because Bubbles and Buttercup were _responsible_ for that, so they should've felt guilt instead of amusement. I agree that the fourth season could either have an *absolutely incredible* half-hour (sometimes typically 11-minute) episode, or a pretty meh one that was mostly forgettable. The bangers would Get Back Jojo, Him Diddle Riddle, Superfriends, Stray Bullet, and Knock it Off. The "eh" ones would be All Chalked Up, Flim Flam, Nano of the North, and Not so Awesome Blossom. The fifth season is where the Powerpuff Girls lost a lot of its... spice, if you can forgive the pun. The plots felt more babyish and cringeworthy. I mean really, a plot about which one of the girls wet the bed? It also relied a lot more heavily on Rowdyruff Boy episodes: *The Boys are Back in Town, Bubble Boy, Boy Toys, and Custody Battle.* And even those were mostly lackluster and relied on a lot of gross humor or outdated male stereotypes ("Go and play with your tea parties, silly _girl."_). I still find it better than season six because there were more episodes I found entertaining. *Curses* was personally hilarious to me (though objectively Sailor Mouth is higher quality, I'll agree with that.), as well as *Burglar Alarmed*, *Shotgun Wedding*, *Substitute Creature*, *The Boys are Back In Town*, *City of Clipsville* (everyone remembers that teenage clip), *Documentary*, *Bang For Your Buck* (I have a MAJOR soft spot for any episode with The Gang Green Gang), and *Silent Treatment.* Season Six got as bad as the current reboot. I am not shitting you. When you have episodes that literally revolve around fart jokes (Reeking Havoc) or the painful "taking care of a baby" plot (That's Not My Baby), you've hit rock bottom. Every now and then you had a uniquely creative premise, like Mojo kidnapping the Narrator, or the Professor upgrading to a Hal-like car ("I'm sorry Blossom, I'm afraid I can't do that."), and Aspirations might be the best effort with Sedusa getting her revenge after having her hair cut off using the Gang Green Gang, but boy did this one stink. The last episode literally ended with a poop joke.
Technically, in Too Pooped To Puff, the reason the Girls left Townsville in the lurch was because they kept on calling them to help out with menial tasks, like opening a jar or fixing a sink.
@@mitchfletcher2386 I *know.* It's like when people call 911 so they can get a refund for their burger. Basically, abusing emergency services. The girls were justified _there_ because those were menial tasks. But they *have* to stop a *monster* from destroying the town because that's beyond any normal forces to handle.
@Rokenrol Bro 2019 "Too Pooped to Puff" was an episode that ended up making everybody look bad. The townies look bad for their overblown stupidity and laziness (though that soggy toast joke was pretty funny), and the girls look bad for willingly lounging about on a cloud and leaving the townies to try to solve a _monster attack_ all on their own, something that, like you said, is total overkill.
@Rokenrol Bro 2019 A smarter way to write the episode would've had the girls trying to encourage the townies to be more self-sufficient in _small_ ways. Ways that would be reasonable to expect for common, everyday citizens. They could encourage the police and the fire department to try to do their jobs more and not just rely on the girls to solve all their problems for them. They could lecture the town on relying on the girls for small favors or simply outright refuse to do the small favors while still sticking to the big tasks, I dunno.

@@stephenwells6434 I'm just saying, the specials are really not much to talk about and dissect, I didn't watch much of the reboot but it's obvious even to me that:"what you see is what you get " so the rest of the videos about it are pretty pointless, it's the same thing nostalgia critic does a lot the Disneycembers he made become NC reviews! And I already told you these are suggestions wich can be both ignored or headed I don't care what happens. But belive me when I say I subscribed to a LOT of RUclips channels and a lot of them is on hiatus or keep putting out less than satisfying content.
come to order! C.G.:the Cartoon Judge! Look if you don’t like what he’s doing then go find another RUclipsr. It’s that simple. Because pushing and pushing someone to change their content for your own sake is only gonna annoy them and make them ignore you. Besides you’re not only annoying him at this point you’re annoying us with your brattiness too. PS PPGZ sucks.

@@gregzotter6189 however the episode was shown everywhere outside the US
10:27 scenes like this are definitely missing in the new series. the quick flashes accompanied by a riff, its like classic ppg.
That is a very nice ranking list. To me, I like the older seasons for the humor, action and characters, but I like the newer seasons for the visuals. Though that's not to say that the older seasons have bad visuals, it is just better looking for the newer seasons in my opinion.
Yeah this list is pretty accurate, the only thing I like about season five and six are the ways the girls are drawn
I still heavily enjoy the later seasons. Simian Says, Nuttn Special, Divide and Counqur and Feel me See me Gnome me are some of my favorates.

I notice after the movie that Tara Strong's voice has gotten deeper at that point because whenever Bubbles was either angry or crying she sounded like toot from drawn together whenever she was angry and timmy turner whenever she cried.
Meanwhile in an AU Craig McCracken is the director of the reboot and it got stellar reception.

Robin is definitely overrated, but she also delivers one of my favorite jokes in the entire series. You know the one I'm referring to.

It was a simple but sweet plot, kind of like Best Rainy Day Adventure Ever though of course not as classic.

come to order! C.G.:the Cartoon Judge! Help with what? Pestering him every single video he makes to change his content for YOUR OWN amusement. Look I know he likes making content for us and does what we wanna see but commenting on every single video he makes telling him to change his content when he’s already happy with what he’s doing?? That’s pretty rude.
You should definitely rank the main villains of the Powerpuff girls! (The Classic)

Its been a while since I clicked on something so darn fast. I feel like I just got a Christmas present early.
So far the most fav is Season 1
Thought it would be 50 50 about Season 2&3
I had honestly forgotten the show was on as long as it was. I was 11 when season 1 premiered and 17 when the show ended. By probably season 4 I was usually out working so I always missed the new episodes
unpopular opinion: ppg should’ve ended in season 4 with power noia (and the christmas special) as its last episodes. that way we wouldn’t have so much bad episodes. though that way we wouldn’t have others like aspirations and silent treatment
I liked when stuff glowed.
Like fire in the first few seasons
I only remember one episode from the later series of classic PPG vivid the City of Frownsville with Dexter's depressed uncle Lou Gubrious the incessant crying after five minutes made me change the channel ASAP
The Powerpuff Girls might not be perfect. It's got its flaws, but I'd say at its worse it's still better than the reboot at its best.
Also another thing I've thought of. Considering the 6th season might be a bit better than season 5, maybe if the show had gone on for another season it would have gone back up in quality.
You should make a Top 10 Worst Classic PPG Episodes, unless you've already done so.
The blood dripping off of Bubbles' nose kind of reminds me of what happens when Jane "Eleven" Hopper from "Stranger Things" uses her powers.
She doesn't have a nose. It was her mouth.

Hey you think you can do a review on the IDW CN comic Super Secret Crisis War which is a crossover between The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Ben 10 and Ed, Edd and Eddy.
I love the original series
Hey cool backgrounds!!! I actually watch the last 2 seasons the most because the first 4 seasons are good but I think they’re “clouded”. That’s the best way I could describe it. If you look at the animation from season 1 compared to season 5 the colors become more vibrant and the voices sound more clear. And yeah there are a lot more bad episodes in the last 2 seasons but they’re not all that bad. 💙💖 also Bubbles in the thumbnail!!!! 💙 also I love Aspirations. Favorite episode!!! 🤩
As for criticism..
7:06 That was allowed to be aired on Cartoon Network.
Jewel of the Aisle is literally my all time favorite episode. I STILL laugh at it to this day!
YEAH THE BETTER PPG SERIES!!!!!!!!!!

Or if you compare ink lemonade with pet sitter pat it's insulting to the fans of Sponge bob but Ink Lemonade it's an insult to original fans, and several weeks of therapy for the casual viewers. Pet sitter pat is just one joke:Patrik is the pet who needs to be taken care of and Gary is the responsible one. Ink lemonade is like a fever dream-from a mentally insane-caveman-from Hell! It has ripped off skin and talking organs, psychological torment, the drinking of someone else's bodily fluids, harvesting someone of bodily fluids, and the ending:someone eat:🍪 wich then turns out is made of Spider Eggs wich Hatch inside he's stomach then SPIDER BABIES CRAW OUT OF HE'S MOUTH!!!!
Yep, that was the one. And I agree that it was horrendous.
i've been trying to compile my own top 10 heck 20 favorite original PPG episodes and alot of them are really hard to pick over others since the ones I do like I could place them just about anywhere making it hard to truly place them on a certain spot.

The ONLY thing that improved with Powerpuff and Dexter’s later on was the more mid-century art style change. Everything else was mostly below average. The Turkey Who Came To Dinner aired on October 21, 1997.
Chuckie Is Rich aired on January 9, 1994.
Home Movies aired on December 5, 1993.
My own ranking:
PPG's first season might be one of the strongest first seasons of a cartoon I've seen.
*Curses* was personally hilarious to me (though objectively Sailor Mouth is higher quality, I'll agree with that.), as well as *Burglar Alarmed*, *Shotgun Wedding*, *Substitute Creature*, *The Boys are Back In Town*, *City of Clipsville* (everyone remembers that teenage clip), *Documentary*, *Bang For Your Buck* (I have a MAJOR soft spot for any episode with The Gang Green Gang), and *Silent Treatment.*
Season Six got as bad as the current reboot.
Who here’s after hearing there is going to be a live action reboot?
