When Claire is going back to her own time, and she is screaming. I always feel sad, because I can feel her pain. She really wanted to stay with Jamie!

I just can't understand why she left the 1700's and cried afterwards. I mean she should stay with Jamie.
@@lokma6815 she didn't want to leave jamie at that time. but the battle of Culloden had already started and they knew for sure that highlanders weren't going to win and all the clansmen were going to be killed. so, Jamie was certain that he'll be killed too. that's why Jamie sent away Claire to a time where she and their daughter would be safe and taken care of. Claire went away because she made a promise to Jamie months ago that if such a moment comes, she'll listen to him and go back to Frank. back then, Claire didn't realise that this moment will come for sure.

I know that it's artistic and everything to never actually show them vanish, but I think when Jamie sent Claire though having her vanish from his grasp, her touch turning to nothing but air and his grasping at seemingly the essence of her would have been very moving, and to see the following cry afterwards from his side...
I know people dont like frank but season 1 and 2 really break my heart as Frank didn't deserve all that pain and loneliness
readers of the books says that frank was an asshole in the books. apparently he had many affairs with other women when they were married, and he was very rude n stuff.

@@VinyZikss that's not fully true. both of them had found out pretty quickly that Claire cannot love anyone else but Jamie but both of them agreed to make it work for Bree. yes, Frank did not deserve all this pain. but Claire didn't force him to stay. rather it was Frank who stayed because 1) he wanted to take this opportunity to have a daughter because he's infertile and cannot have his own. 2) he loved bree 3) he wanted to take bree away from her mother and this cannot happen until she's 18.
Man I really love the transition the 3rd time claire passes through the stones. You can really see that she is happy to be back. She finally felt home
How did she go through a puddle instead of the stone?
@@wavokiaado she didn't go through the puddle. It's just when she got off the car to go to the airport to go to Scotland there was a puddle 😂

You can hear the difference in the sounds the stones make. First it was metallic, now it's bees.
I am not sure why that is. Do you think it sounds different to every person?

in the books every person (who can travel) hears a different sound.

Roger and Brianna hear bees. But Claire did never hear another sound than what she heard the first time. She hears this metallic sound the first time and the second time she travels.

Did you notice that people who can travel through time had an ancestor related to an historical even : Roger Mac has Dougal as an ancestor. Brianna has Jaimie. I believe Frank could have travel if he had a gem stone : Black Jack is his ancestor. Claire must have someone, we dont know a lot about her family
I don't think Brianna's ability to travel thorugh the stones had anything to do with her being Jamie's daughter. It's Claire's bloodline that gives her that ability. The same thing with Roger, Gaelis is the one who passed down the ability for time-travel (even if she does it differently than the rest).
I forgot his name but the guy in France with the potions and all medicine stuff who helps Claire after her baby is born with the fever ..he is said to be Claire's ancestors

The question is that Geillis Duncan was time traveling without having a special bloodline she especially said she never heard the hissing sound coming from the stones and that she traveled using a special ceremony ! This is why i think now that claire has her book she might be able to help Jamie come back to the future ?
I also REALLY wish that jamie could go to the future. But Diana Gabaldon has confirmed that this will never happen :( :(

@ Angel of Justice - Geillis DOES have a special bloodline....and she is connected by bloodline to Claire. They are both descendants of Raymond, who was born in 400 BC and travels forward in time...Claire first meets him in Paris. Also, Roger is descended from Geillis, which is why he can time travel.

I read books a while ago. How do they end up in exactly the time period they choose in later travels?
Think it always sends Claire back exactly 200 years
But it sent Roger and Bree exactly to the time and place they thought of. And it also sent Claire 200 years forward again.
Mathilde Mortensen every traveler travels 200 years backwards / forward (if they’re already in the past).
Place: they “come out” at the same place where they “came in”, if that makes sense (sorry English’s not my first language). Every time, the travelers wake up at the same place where they touched the stones 200 years in the future / in the past.
@@Elena-os4ts But Geillis travel more than 200 years in the past. In the last season when Briana, Roger and them son try to go back to the future, Roger ask Brianna if she was thinking about home. I think that you travel to the time you imagine and also remember that Claire and Frank was talking 200 years in the past before she travel.
