Concrete Leaf Painting | Natural Pink Style

- Опубликовано: 29 сен 2024
- Paint a concrete leaf in a natural pink style with a dry brushing technique and using acrylic paint. Undercoat your concrete leaf with a base coat of acrylic paint and apply layers of colour using dry brushing, which is applying paint to your paintbrush and removing excess paint from the brush and dusting over the leaf texture with layers of paint colour.
Colours used are Cadmium red, white and black. Mixing a combination of these colours to create tones and hues.

Cheers Frank! She turned out a bit pwetty! :D
very informative tutorial!! Could you please give a suggestion to colour concrete leaves with big Yam leaves! I am making fountain with them!! Thanks and regards!
You might have some probs with painting items which are part of water or water features due to wear and tear, plus if living creatures are in the water, etc. I don't know enough to advise in this situation. Cheer Rani. :)
@@dramamask I need to check with the shop itself then I suppose! Thanks a lot for your reply! i am a great fan of your works!! all the best and stay safe!
Beautiful! How long do you let it dry before using a protective finish ( varnish, etc) ?
I don't usually put a protective varnish on anymore, but if you want to do that, then might be best to wait a day or two before applying a varnish, sealer, etc. :)
great job
Thank you! :)
I wished you had showed us the paint you use.
There's a lot to cover in just one video and there is a lot more information in other videos covering other areas on the channel. Here's one about paint: ruclips.net/video/kaJRuGezmxk/видео.html
I love it too, Drama! I always shy away from reds and pinks, favouring blues, greens and purples. However, I should have another go and try to emulate your style and patience! :) BTW my picture was made with terracotta coloured concrete, not painted that colour.
Hello Lahave! I'm the same with certain colours and pink isn't a colour I choose very often! :D Good to push oneself outside of one's comfort zone from time to time. :) Good to connect here and will post up some of the latest vids on the boards shortly. I love the terracotta concrete! :)
This looks beautiful!
Thank you Sloth Florist! Bit of a change for me - going all pink! :D
I love the colors. They're so vibrant!
Pink isn't really my thing, but thought I'd give it a go! :D
FYI, for future reference: please record with higher volume. We can turn it down. You speak softly & I have it at the highest volume and can barely hear you. BUT loved the video.
Thank you. Now the channel has become more popular, the production and sound is better, so the later videos this year have better sound. :)
way to go!!! I subscribed...but want to hear your dialog. wheeeeeeeeee
That's new to me, as in real life, people are always telling me to shut up! :) Thank you Angela and thank you for subscribing! :)
It's a small size. What would use use it for?
Well, I guess that is down to your imagination. :) The leaf in the video can be hung on walls for decor, etc. :)
That is beautiful. WOW!!!
Aww, thank you Jacqueline! :)

Thank you Anne! :)

Thank you Sandi! :)
