i honestly can remember those days that she's part of the show as 1 of the contestants and i was really rooting for her..and it broke my heart that she didn't win, the talent show was a total mess..
The judges did not understand that they are in front of greatness. Even back then I know, she's special, maybe I was a fan and following the international scene during that era, even my mom and sister don't get why I love her so much then. It's just that nobody sings like how she sings these power belting songs from the greats, especially here in the Philippines. I actually noticed Charice even before LBS, the time she sang To Love You More, also in one of the Talent search in ABS. Miss her so much

Some people have great talent. Charice was an amazing talent even as a little girl and is now one of the finest singer's in the world. She also brings joy to many worldwide. There are also many sad and bitter people who's only input is in placing abusive comments on RUclips, they bring joy and happiness to no one accept to their own warped brains which are filled with envy and jealously at others success and talent, something badly lacking in their own sad, limited and futile lives.

Agreed. Even though the performance wasn't flawless and she went flat and sharp in some parts, she sang the song with soul and that is something adult singers here in the Philippines lack. Adult singers sing this song to purposely show off their vocals that they end up over singing the song. They don't showcase the emotions of the song. They need to understand that not every song needs to be sung forcefully with unnecessary runs, extra belts and vocal acrobatics. The song is vocally demanding enough to add some extras. The song needs to be sung the way it is and just capture the emotions of it. And trust me, some flats and sharps can be overlooked when the emotions are there.
