    How about that, indeed.
    I was one of those 10-year-old's who remembered Mr. Jim McKay letting us know what was happening, back in Toledo. I always thought he was the best -- th-e-e-e best. And ABC Sports was a class operation from top to bottom, thanks to Roone Arlege. You could tell.

    Jim McKay was to The U.S. Olympic team what Vin Scully was to The Dodgers, What Ray Scott was to The Packers, What Harry Caray was to The Cubs, What Mel Allen was to The Yankees, What Chuck Thompson was to The Orioles, What Jack Buck was to The Cardinals, Jim McKay WAS the voice of America's Team(Not The Cowboys)

    1972, Olympic Tragedy, why are people so selfish, and lamebrained. All life, especially human, is precious. My father would say, life is short. Make the most of it. This tragedy, made a lifelong impression, I will never forget Jim McKay, and this was an issue that I can never forget. I was 17 yrs. old.
