- Former water and sanitation ministers have been accused of enabling corruption in the department. The police are investigating irregularities amounting to R7.8 billion. Yesterday, System Applications Products (SAP) was ordered to pay back over R413 million to the Department after contracts between the German company and the state were deemed to be constitutionally invalid.
