My therapist just introduced this to me for us to explore. This was a great illustration that I needed to understand what to expect. Thank you

quality therapist.
I think I’m going to try this example with a kid my caseload today for the first time. Wish me luck!
Love love love this! Very clear, conscience, and powerful depiction of a powerful session! Looking to get certified in ACT. Any suggestions on where to get great training?
I don't think there's an ACT cert yet, is there?
Would this be a diffusion technique?
How can I find a therapist like this?
You can look for therapists that specialize in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. When you look at a therapists online profile or speak to them on the phone, ask them if this is one of their primary modalities that they use. You could also search “ACT therapists” and might be able to get a list of them in your area. You could also call your health insurance company to see if they have anybody in your network. Hope this helps!
Where did you learn ACT from
