So fantastic to see so many young people having the time of their lives, no phones, no iPads just totally engrossed in the music I was probably the same age as most of the people in this video, I remember being blown away aged 16 being so jealous of these dudes.
Saw myself and a few friends in this video, almost wish I could go back to those days. Fun times, hanging around in Brum, Pigeon Park, Hummingbird, Oasis, Rag Market etc. Seems like a lifetime ago.
86-91 was one of the best periods of my life on a personal level especially 91. I recall dancing feeling so free when this came out. Such an incredible uplifting and upbeat song. You can never not dance to this. :)
No, alternative is the mainstream now. No individuality now. Everyone with a tattoo. Back then alternative was alternative. These days parents dress cooler than their kids. Back then, greebos, crusties, goths, indie kids and punks were a minority. They don't even exist anymore. The PWEI generation. We were truly alternative.
I’d give anything to back to these days, looking at people just living in the moment and loving life and having fun, this country is completely ruined now 😓

@@allyp-lu2mc I lived in Bedworth at that time. I was a volunteer care worker with CSV. I went to gigs in Birmingham and Coventry. Weird, but you could afford it then, even on a volunteer's wages. Great times. Saw these guys, Lush, Charlatans, Cramps, Morrissey (ouch), Neds Atomic Dustbin, Carter USM, great times. ✊
pablozewoppa remember going to see Neds at Coventry Poly, if I’m right you weren’t allowed to drink outdoors in the city centre around then, drinking snakebite on the drive there, double vodkas in the students bar, then back to Brum to the Hummingbird, then wake up at 4pm on the Sunday lol 😂
