If you watch the whole tournament carefully, you see the ref make several bad decisions in favour of Cobra Kai. It's not just the point of Sam's which he incorrectly disallowed. He pulled the exact same thing in an earlier match, and there were several points he ruled as blocks, even though the technique landed before the block did, or wasn't blocked at all.
And in the sam/tory right in particular tory landed multiple points that were ruled as blocks there was a lot of bad calls and bad edits/angles for that fight because that fight was won by both of them long before the actual ending lol

But there were some clean hits in other fights ruled as blocks, which I'm sure were deliberate, cus the delay between the technique landing, and the block landing, was so long there was no way everyone on set didn't notice
What I love about this ending is that Miguel and Robby have grown beyond Karate. They need a FATHER, not a tournament. And the Miguel/Robby/Johnny dinamic has a massive potential for story telling. It will be very intersting to see their daily interactions and even more interesting and with alot of comical potential how Sam and Tory will feal with their exs being family. That double dates will be really awkward and funny. Or will end with another fight😂 Not middle grown.
Well from what I understand Johnny is taking Robby on a trip to find Miguel. It'll be interesting to see the whole you're my son but he's like my step son so I love him to plotline.
Ya I can see Robby going with Johnny to find Miguel and them having to kick some ass together in Mexico.Also there are rumours that Mike Barnes is Torys dad.Season 5 should be epic.I wonder if Chozen maybe brings a couple of his students over here.Also I am sure they will bring a couple new characters in next season because if Robby and Tory leave Cobra Kai who do they have left,Kenny,Kyler and Piper or maybe Kennys brother Sean joins although not sure if he is 18.We will see.
The ending at Miyagi’s grave, and Daniel asking “will you help me to stop Cobra Kai for good” and the camera pans over to reveal Chozen, dressed in black like a Yakuza ( which I’m pretty sure will be joked about by Dimitri and other members of Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang) and his only response is “Yosh!” In season 5 business is gonna pick up! Also, Yuji Okumoto is the actor who plays Chozen, and he’s been involved with projects in acting, writing, directing and producing.
I like that Daniel told the ref to refer to johnny as a champion too. It's him finally showing that Johnny's style, while he doesn't like it, isn't useless or wrong. It was also just annoying as a viewer that they just erased from their memory that johnny was a champion at all. I also really like that Miguel stuck to his decision not to fight and that Johnny realized he was wrong there
Johnny recognizing right away that he was wrong was HUGE. Daniel giving him that respect in front of that crowd but also Kreese was so special. What a way to show him yo see him as an equal. Finally.
Terry's fall is quite tragic. He was emotionally blackmailed by Kreese who held Vietnam over him for decades like a noose around his neck. What hurt him more than his friend's hypocrisy over Cobra Kai's no mercy rule is the cold realization Kreese never wanted to work with him in the first place. He wanted to reunite with Johnny and when he was spurned for Daniel at the end of S3, this created the jealousy within Kreese to get even with his former star pupil. For all his talk of loyalty and finishing what they started as young men, Terry never meant nearly as much to Kreese is Johnny did and that had to be the biggest punch in the gut for Silver. To be emotionally abused like this by a supposed friend who had long since taken him for granted (because Kreese knew how to manipulate Terry's weaknesses) would drive anyone to substance abuse. Kreese created his own karma and gave the Valley a bigger monster than even he could control.
That’s why I was so happy about it. Not only do we get THE Terry Silver back, but a full cocked Terry Silver. Without him feeling he needs to seek Kreese’s approval, the opportunities are endless for the lengths he’ll go to win. Season 5 is going to be nuts
None of that changes the fact that Terry is a horrid human being, I think he's even worse than Kreese, especially when he paid off the reff to win or framing Kreese who did nothing wrong at that point

Damn, you got me teary eyed whenever certain scenes hit you too, but love that you're so invested and authentic with your reactions! Very much have to agree with the comment about Xolo in the previous episode when Johnny said he loved Robby, it crushed me to see his reaction and face too. Same with Tanner at the end with not wanting to blame Johnny anymore. I feel like the confidence up and down with Eli/Hawk is something I related to growing up as well. Previously he'd said how he lost his confidence, and I think a part of him was punishing himself for the things he did as he knew better but, didn't want to go back to being the picked on, shy, quiet Eli. I feel like Moon kissing him was basically a forgiveness in a way to him that it was okay to be himself (since she'd broken up with him for being a bully), but yes kiss form a cute/hot girl can be a confidence boost too. :) I love Tory's growth this season, and feel like she's going to be the one to let people know what Silver did as she won't feel she properly earned the trophy, and the fact that Kreese was always the one who looked out for her. Sam should have gotten the point, the ref purposely fudged the out of bounds, in which case Sam would have won. Terry's plan had me screaming once I started to see it coming, but I appreciate the hell out of it and the entertainment value. He's the bad guy you love to hate kinda thing, maybe even more than Kreese now. Karate Kid was a huge influence on me getting into martial arts as a teenager. There's been times throughout my life where I've thought about and appreciated the Miyagi quote that balance is needed in all walks of life. I'm so happy and agree how amazing the show and writing is. I'm glad so many people can appreciate and love it now. demitri excels in this season. i've never been so proud. his attitude in the first season, swerve me. he's competent, performs, and doesn't complain. I need that attitude
Another kind of call back to the end of season 2 when Miguel fell and landed on the stairs. Hawk was the first one to him then and is there in the last shot of episode 9 here in almost the exact same position.
The character arc of everyone in this show. Even Kreese, is starting to feel the push because of Johnny and Tory. The Robby-Johnny hug just killed me. Tory knows Silver paid off the refs. Now with Chozen coming state side. Season 5 will be very interesting.

Plus the fake out wasn’t much different than the end of last season where it seemed like Daniel and Johnny were on the same page, then episode one of this season you immediately see it falling apart. The whole reaction was great, but those last ~20 minutes were a joy to watch. You were actually the first reactor I watched who understood the panic Sam was going through by the end of the match when Tory asked her if she was OK. Such a good moment of acting from Mary Mouser (and Peyton List, by the way). Now you see why I suggested watching these two together... If you had to wait more time between Miguel's injury and the diagnosis you'd probably have your stress levels go through the roof. Amanda is truly a highlight of this show. I love her.
Great recommendation! I think the last two together were like watching a movie. My god I was so terrified that Miguel was paralyzed again. after the few times it was mentioned of him hurting himself again I was worried!

This is by far the most authentic and personal reaction to anything I have seen, and that's what makes it so great. The fact that we both seem to be around the same age, and that we both went through heavy personal losses somehow makes me even closer to you. I love Cobra Kai dearly. Being a classic movie aficionado, I have never thought anyone could make a sequel to anything so dear to me as the Karate Kid, and pull it off perfectly. Just the right amount of nostalgia and callbacks for me to tear up every now and then, but with a fresh story to keep us thoroughly entertained. I can't wait for season five and your other reactions. Truly my favorite thing about creating this channel is comments like this. There are so many people that feel like we do and we get to connect with them through things that are deeply meaningful to us. I wasn’t sure when I first started watching Cobra Kai if it was going to do justice to the movies that shaped me as a kid. I’m so glad I gave it a chance because I literally evolve my emotions and perspectives throughout watching them but even during my commentaries. It’s still shaping me. Season 5…. Chozen AND Terry Silver. It’s unimaginable and the most amazing thing I’ve ever heard…
The only bad thing about all this is that we need to wait so many months until the next season. Still, I'm looking forward to the journey, for I already feel like I have found a great friend after only several reactions I have seen. I can't wait to see some of your other stuff, especially if you start reacting to classic movies. Things that's really good about the show is that it's full of symbolism and when the two fighters take off their shirts it's symbolizes that they are rooted in their respective styles and that karate has become their own

Jacob Bertrand, who plays Hawk obv, I think has real acting chops. I think he will go on to be a proper character actor. Tanner Buchanan is good on the physical stuff, too - could see him like Xolo going into some super hero role.

Yuji Okumoto semi retired from acting and he became a restaurant owner. Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg went to his restaurant to eat and sprung the surprise on him they wanted him to appear (series 3), He was shocked and honoured and decided there and then to come out of retirement to do the show. I really hope in Series 5 we get flashbacks and deleted scenes of Danny Kamekona AKA Sato - as the actor died in 1996.
This would be amazing. I knew he had the restaurant but I didn’t know he retired from acting. I’m so glad he came back. Imagine the idea of taking a character you played so long ago and getting to play the hero instead of the villain.

First time to your channel. Great video, btw! 5 Thoughts: 1) Can't wait to see what becomes of Devon. I thought she was the best addition by far. There is just so much potential with her because not only is she so talented, as a person AND karate student (that hook kick at the end was pretty sweet), she went EagleFang and could realistically end up becoming Johnny Lawrence's surrogate daughter. Can definitely see her becoming one of the show's most focal characters moving forward.. 2) The scene with Johnny and Robbie at the end was priceless. Enough cannot be said about a father and son genuinely making amends; it's a rare thing. When I ask myself what it is about this show that makes me cry, sincere incidents of peace is one of them. 3) I don't think Miguel has a reason to be bitter, or at least not towards Johnny. Even though Johnny said Robby's name to him in that momentous scene as he's waking up, Miguel should eventually realize that Johnny's always been there for him, and that he should actually be very grateful. Miguel was even the one who came to him, asking for help, and Johnny provided it for him. I get that it's really tough for Miguel, and growing up without a father feels extremely difficult (take it from me), so maybe bitter towards the misfortune of life? He simply needs resolution. 4) Kenny's story was so dark. I loved the way they introduced him; it felt kind of like this retro 90's anti-racist montage type thing, it was great. But as he went Cobra Kai, we all saw what he turned into, obviously, which to me shows how this show is willing to go a little bit existential and dark (a la Bojack Horseman). I respect it, but I was initially rooting for Kenny.. we'll see what happens. 5) This season saved Terry Silver, as well as Karate Kid 3's mediocrity. I always thought Terry was a lame choice for a bad guy, but they revived him and now he's a more complete antagonist. He's really at his peak as the season is ending.
I loved your reaction. And you're forgiven because we all miss Mr. Miyagi. Many hugs to you--and I subscribed to your channel. I figured it out: Silver fixed the fight in KK3 but did not expect Daniel to use Kata in 'Sudden Death'. It makes sense when you realize how many point deductions and warnings were given to Barnes when he crossed the line. I think Silver covered ALL of his bases this time to make sure Miyagi's ghost didn't rise up and pull a win out of the air. And I'm sure that I can make you cry--again. My daughter's dog is named Mr. Miyagi AND the day we found and brought him home was on June 28--Pat Morita's birthday. I got a Belgian Malinois for Christmas and named her Yukie. I guess you can say I'm a fan to my core.
I saw one of the interviews with the younger cast, and they were asked which actor had the most karate ability in real life, and it was kind of a unanimous opinion that it was Jacob Bertrand. I feel like if you asked who has had the most ability throughout the show, it would be Jacob, but it sure looks like Tanner Buchanan has caught up and surpassed him this season. Maybe some of it is camera magic, I don't know, but he sure looks like he's leveling up triple time right now. He looked incredible. And as much as I hope Robby can fix some of his issues and find the light in himself again, I kinda hope he keeps that darkside energy on the mat. lol That was crazy imposing.

When they announced they were making this show a few years back I had hoped it would be good. However, I never expected it to be such an emotional show that could make me cry .

It felt forced and off-putting, but I just watched Karate Kid I the other night and I didn't realize that in the closing credits to the movie the same song playing that Carrie sung in the show. I see the connection now, but I did not like this scene at all when I first saw it. It felt disruptive, but now, I can stomach it because I am such a big fan of the show. I was so glad when Tory won, the girl has been through hell. I personally know what it's like to be in a situation like hers. When all you are doing is surviving it can strip you down to your baser instinct and it's easy to lose yourself there. Tory is not an evil person, she has just been backed into a corner so many times that it's all she knows. Now Silver just took something else away from her. Something that in her mind was pure, so I think Silver just made his worst enemy in Tory. Season 5 I'm thinking Chozen recognizes the anger in Tory and connects with her. She becomes a Trojan Horse against Silver's Cobra Kai.

I’m thinking that Tory’s redemption arc is going to be how they bring Julie Pierce into the series, because her story was about dealing with the anger issues related to the death of her parents.
I think Chozen will become the new head Sensai of Miyagi Do, and he will be the game changer for every character. And just like Johnny had never interacted with Silver before no one in Cobra Kai or Miyagi Do knows who Chozen is and what he’s capable of so that will be interesting to watch.
You know, the power of spoken words can be amazing. And having a powerful name can also be equally amazing. When Moon called Hawk by his real name “Eli“ that was very powerful moment. In Hebrew, Eli means “High” or “Elevated”. The “El” in Eli means “God”. What Moon did was resonate a “Winning Spirit” in Eli by calling him by his REAL name… and we saw the results and boost of confidence in Eli‘s demeanor, attitude, and performance. Eli ELEVATED like a just HAWK would do… and he became the NEW ALL VALLEY CHAMPION. Very powerful scene.

Seriously Mitch can never catch a break. --He lost to Tory in a sparring match, ---he lost in the mall fight to Robby and Sam. --- He lost to Hawk at Coyote Creek - he lost to Chris in the school fight. - He was losing to Chris again in the laser tag and it wasn't until he was helped that he managed to win. -- He lost to Kyler -- Lost to the guy in the larusso house -- Got kicked into a rock by BERT -- And now he screwed up the worst out of anybody at skills competition. This guy can NEVER win a fight seriously. ---- On another note. I knew Demetry wasn't gonna win but still he did good with that flip. The ending caught me be surprise too. i like the little touch about how he specificlly said i am "shedding" my weakness. that was totally a snake refenrence i think john kreese got screwed here but it is his own fault for openint gup pandora's box. but also, john does deserve some jail time honestly. i mean he did punch dimitirs and make him bleed just by being annoyed by him. that was assult. he put cobras in daniels dealership he got the kids to do things that were very illegal (his group) and a few other things.

Moon gave Hawk back his confidence because when she broke up with him, that is when he went full overboard psycho. Remember she told him, she looked his hair, muscles but can't date a bully. Moon kissing him basically reassured he didn't have to act like an asshole to be great.
Daniel isn't so much opposed to Cobra Kai's techniques being utilized, but it's bringing the rage and bullying with it. He fears that and it triggers him. Daniel gets a lot of shit for trying to do the right thing. He's no different than Johnny in some ways. They are both trying to do the right thing, but don't approach it right all the time. Also, if jumping to conclusions were an Olympic event, Daniel and Johnny would be gold medalists and most of the kids would be silver medalists. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that ends up crying through a great portion of this series.
Yes S5 is finished FILMING it's not edited yet. That usually takes a few months and then there is distribution negotiations which takes just as long as well as marketing.... While they are doing this, they could START S6 NOW to get it out faster if Netflix ordered more but they wont know if they dont like S5, which is really short sighted of them as the track record is too stellar. The longer NF waits the more money they gotta pay, NF should lock the crew cast in for atleast 3 seasons more.

What I love about this ending is that Miguel and Robby have grown beyond Karate. They need a FATHER, not a tournament.
And the Miguel/Robby/Johnny dinamic has a massive potential for story telling.
It will be very intersting to see their daily interactions and even more interesting and with alot of comical potential how Sam and Tory will feal with their exs being family.
That double dates will be really awkward and funny. Or will end with another fight😂 Not middle grown.

Well from what I understand Johnny is taking Robby on a trip to find Miguel. It'll be interesting to see the whole you're my son but he's like my step son so I love him to plotline.
Ya I can see Robby going with Johnny to find Miguel and them having to kick some ass together in Mexico.Also there are rumours that Mike Barnes is Torys dad.Season 5 should be epic.I wonder if Chozen maybe brings a couple of his students over here.Also I am sure they will bring a couple new characters in next season because if Robby and Tory leave Cobra Kai who do they have left,Kenny,Kyler and Piper or maybe Kennys brother Sean joins although not sure if he is 18.We will see.

The ending at Miyagi’s grave, and Daniel asking “will you help me to stop Cobra Kai for good” and the camera pans over to reveal Chozen, dressed in black like a Yakuza ( which I’m pretty sure will be joked about by Dimitri and other members of Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang) and his only response is “Yosh!” In season 5 business is gonna pick up!
Also, Yuji Okumoto is the actor who plays Chozen, and he’s been involved with projects in acting, writing, directing and producing.
I like that Daniel told the ref to refer to johnny as a champion too. It's him finally showing that Johnny's style, while he doesn't like it, isn't useless or wrong. It was also just annoying as a viewer that they just erased from their memory that johnny was a champion at all. I also really like that Miguel stuck to his decision not to fight and that Johnny realized he was wrong there
Johnny recognizing right away that he was wrong was HUGE.
Daniel giving him that respect in front of that crowd but also Kreese was so special. What a way to show him yo see him as an equal. Finally.
All I could say when I first watched that scene was, "Give that man his flowers!" Love this show more than I can say.❤
Terry's fall is quite tragic. He was emotionally blackmailed by Kreese who held Vietnam over him for decades like a noose around his neck. What hurt him more than his friend's hypocrisy over Cobra Kai's no mercy rule is the cold realization Kreese never wanted to work with him in the first place. He wanted to reunite with Johnny and when he was spurned for Daniel at the end of S3, this created the jealousy within Kreese to get even with his former star pupil. For all his talk of loyalty and finishing what they started as young men, Terry never meant nearly as much to Kreese is Johnny did and that had to be the biggest punch in the gut for Silver. To be emotionally abused like this by a supposed friend who had long since taken him for granted (because Kreese knew how to manipulate Terry's weaknesses) would drive anyone to substance abuse. Kreese created his own karma and gave the Valley a bigger monster than even he could control.
That’s why I was so happy about it. Not only do we get THE Terry Silver back, but a full cocked Terry Silver. Without him feeling he needs to seek Kreese’s approval, the opportunities are endless for the lengths he’ll go to win. Season 5 is going to be nuts
None of that changes the fact that Terry is a horrid human being, I think he's even worse than Kreese, especially when he paid off the reff to win or framing Kreese who did nothing wrong at that point

Damn, you got me teary eyed whenever certain scenes hit you too, but love that you're so invested and authentic with your reactions! Very much have to agree with the comment about Xolo in the previous episode when Johnny said he loved Robby, it crushed me to see his reaction and face too. Same with Tanner at the end with not wanting to blame Johnny anymore. I feel like the confidence up and down with Eli/Hawk is something I related to growing up as well. Previously he'd said how he lost his confidence, and I think a part of him was punishing himself for the things he did as he knew better but, didn't want to go back to being the picked on, shy, quiet Eli. I feel like Moon kissing him was basically a forgiveness in a way to him that it was okay to be himself (since she'd broken up with him for being a bully), but yes kiss form a cute/hot girl can be a confidence boost too. :) I love Tory's growth this season, and feel like she's going to be the one to let people know what Silver did as she won't feel she properly earned the trophy, and the fact that Kreese was always the one who looked out for her. Sam should have gotten the point, the ref purposely fudged the out of bounds, in which case Sam would have won. Terry's plan had me screaming once I started to see it coming, but I appreciate the hell out of it and the entertainment value. He's the bad guy you love to hate kinda thing, maybe even more than Kreese now.
Karate Kid was a huge influence on me getting into martial arts as a teenager. There's been times throughout my life where I've thought about and appreciated the Miyagi quote that balance is needed in all walks of life. I'm so happy and agree how amazing the show and writing is. I'm glad so many people can appreciate and love it now. The character arc of everyone in this show. Even Kreese, is starting to feel the push because of Johnny and Tory. The Robby-Johnny hug just killed me. Tory knows Silver paid off the refs. Now with Chozen coming state side. Season 5 will be very interesting.

The whole reaction was great, but those last ~20 minutes were a joy to watch. You were actually the first reactor I watched who understood the panic Sam was going through by the end of the match when Tory asked her if she was OK. Such a good moment of acting from Mary Mouser (and Peyton List, by the way).
Now you see why I suggested watching these two together... If you had to wait more time between Miguel's injury and the diagnosis you'd probably have your stress levels go through the roof.
Amanda is truly a highlight of this show. I love her.

This is by far the most authentic and personal reaction to anything I have seen, and that's what makes it so great. The fact that we both seem to be around the same age, and that we both went through heavy personal losses somehow makes me even closer to you.
I love Cobra Kai dearly. Being a classic movie aficionado, I have never thought anyone could make a sequel to anything so dear to me as the Karate Kid, and pull it off perfectly. Just the right amount of nostalgia and callbacks for me to tear up every now and then, but with a fresh story to keep us thoroughly entertained.

I wasn’t sure when I first started watching Cobra Kai if it was going to do justice to the movies that shaped me as a kid. I’m so glad I gave it a chance because I literally evolve my emotions and perspectives throughout watching them but even during my commentaries. It’s still shaping me.
Season 5…. Chozen AND Terry Silver. It’s unimaginable and the most amazing thing I’ve ever heard…
The only bad thing about all this is that we need to wait so many months until the next season. Still, I'm looking forward to the journey, for I already feel like I have found a great friend after only several reactions I have seen. I can't wait to see some of your other stuff, especially if you start reacting to classic movies. Unfortunately, life is not long enough for all the movies and tv shows worth seeing, but I'm happy to be here and hopefully enjoy your channel for a long time.
Things that's really good about the show is that it's full of symbolism and when the two fighters take off their shirts it's symbolizes that they are rooted in their respective styles and that karate has become their own
Feels so good that Eli is in Miyagi Do. I knew he'd be awesome. I actually predicted that he would be up against Robby, and win, so glad he did! Oh, and also, that choke hold with his legs he did was awesome!

Jacob Bertrand, who plays Hawk obv, I think has real acting chops. I think he will go on to be a proper character actor. Tanner Buchanan is good on the physical stuff, too - could see him like Xolo going into some super hero role.

Everytime they flashback to a Mr. Miyagi scene, hearing his voice and the wisdom he give, makes me cry.
Mr Miyagi was such a gift to all of us.
Yuji Okumoto semi retired from acting and he became a restaurant owner. Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg went to his restaurant to eat and sprung the surprise on him they wanted him to appear (series 3), He was shocked and honoured and decided there and then to come out of retirement to do the show. I really hope in Series 5 we get flashbacks and deleted scenes of Danny Kamekona AKA Sato - as the actor died in 1996.
This would be amazing. I knew he had the restaurant but I didn’t know he retired from acting. I’m so glad he came back. Imagine the idea of taking a character you played so long ago and getting to play the hero instead of the villain.

First time to your channel. Great video, btw! 5 Thoughts:
1) Can't wait to see what becomes of Devon. I thought she was the best addition by far. There is just so much potential with her because not only is she so talented, as a person AND karate student (that hook kick at the end was pretty sweet), she went EagleFang and could realistically end up becoming Johnny Lawrence's surrogate daughter. Can definitely see her becoming one of the show's most focal characters moving forward..
2) The scene with Johnny and Robbie at the end was priceless. Enough cannot be said about a father and son genuinely making amends; it's a rare thing. When I ask myself what it is about this show that makes me cry, sincere incidents of peace is one of them.
3) I don't think Miguel has a reason to be bitter, or at least not towards Johnny. Even though Johnny said Robby's name to him in that momentous scene as he's waking up, Miguel should eventually realize that Johnny's always been there for him, and that he should actually be very grateful. Miguel was even the one who came to him, asking for help, and Johnny provided it for him. I get that it's really tough for Miguel, and growing up without a father feels extremely difficult (take it from me), so maybe bitter towards the misfortune of life? He simply needs resolution.
4) Kenny's story was so dark. I loved the way they introduced him; it felt kind of like this retro 90's anti-racist montage type thing, it was great. But as he went Cobra Kai, we all saw what he turned into, obviously, which to me shows how this show is willing to go a little bit existential and dark (a la Bojack Horseman). I respect it, but I was initially rooting for Kenny.. we'll see what happens.
5) This season saved Terry Silver, as well as Karate Kid 3's mediocrity. I always thought Terry was a lame choice for a bad guy, but they revived him and now he's a more complete antagonist. He's really at his peak as the season is ending.

I figured it out: Silver fixed the fight in KK3 but did not expect Daniel to use Kata in 'Sudden Death'. It makes sense when you realize how many point deductions and warnings were given to Barnes when he crossed the line. I think Silver covered ALL of his bases this time to make sure Miyagi's ghost didn't rise up and pull a win out of the air.
And I'm sure that I can make you cry--again. My daughter's dog is named Mr. Miyagi AND the day we found and brought him home was on June 28--Pat Morita's birthday. I got a Belgian Malinois for Christmas and named her Yukie. I guess you can say I'm a fan to my core.
I saw one of the interviews with the younger cast, and they were asked which actor had the most karate ability in real life, and it was kind of a unanimous opinion that it was Jacob Bertrand. I feel like if you asked who has had the most ability throughout the show, it would be Jacob, but it sure looks like Tanner Buchanan has caught up and surpassed him this season. Maybe some of it is camera magic, I don't know, but he sure looks like he's leveling up triple time right now. He looked incredible. And as much as I hope Robby can fix some of his issues and find the light in himself again, I kinda hope he keeps that darkside energy on the mat. lol That was crazy imposing.

I was so glad when Tory won, the girl has been through hell. I personally know what it's like to be in a situation like hers. When all you are doing is surviving it can strip you down to your baser instinct and it's easy to lose yourself there. Tory is not an evil person, she has just been backed into a corner so many times that it's all she knows. Now Silver just took something else away from her. Something that in her mind was pure, so I think Silver just made his worst enemy in Tory. Season 5 I'm thinking Chozen recognizes the anger in Tory and connects with her. She becomes a Trojan Horse against Silver's Cobra Kai.

Tory is taking Terry Silver down. She’s the key.
I’m thinking that Tory’s redemption arc is going to be how they bring Julie Pierce into the series, because her story was about dealing with the anger issues related to the death of her parents.
I think Chozen will become the new head Sensai of Miyagi Do, and he will be the game changer for every character. And just like Johnny had never interacted with Silver before no one in Cobra Kai or Miyagi Do knows who Chozen is and what he’s capable of so that will be interesting to watch.
Especially since Tory told Silver she doesn't need to cheat and then sees him pay off the ref.
You know, the power of spoken words can be amazing. And having a powerful name can also be equally amazing.
When Moon called Hawk by his real name “Eli“ that was very powerful moment. In Hebrew, Eli means “High” or “Elevated”. The “El” in Eli means “God”.
What Moon did was resonate a “Winning Spirit” in Eli by calling him by his REAL name… and we saw the results and boost of confidence in Eli‘s demeanor, attitude, and performance. Eli ELEVATED like a just HAWK would do… and he became the NEW ALL VALLEY CHAMPION. Very powerful scene.

Moon gave Hawk back his confidence because when she broke up with him, that is when he went full overboard psycho. Remember she told him, she looked his hair, muscles but can't date a bully. Moon kissing him basically reassured he didn't have to act like an asshole to be great.
Also, Kyler said no one would kiss lips like Eli’s. Moon proved that wasn’t true.

1 year late but I love how they’re comparing Robby to Anakin. He really is the Cobra Kai version of Anakin haha
Daniel isn't so much opposed to Cobra Kai's techniques being utilized, but it's bringing the rage and bullying with it. He fears that and it triggers him. Daniel gets a lot of shit for trying to do the right thing. He's no different than Johnny in some ways. They are both trying to do the right thing, but don't approach it right all the time. Also, if jumping to conclusions were an Olympic event, Daniel and Johnny would be gold medalists and most of the kids would be silver medalists. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that ends up crying through a great portion of this series.
Yes S5 is finished FILMING it's not edited yet. That usually takes a few months and then there is distribution negotiations which takes just as long as well as marketing.... While they are doing this, they could START S6 NOW to get it out faster if Netflix ordered more but they wont know if they dont like S5, which is really short sighted of them as the track record is too stellar. The longer NF waits the more money they gotta pay, NF should lock the crew cast in for atleast 3 seasons more.
