many thanks Slipses for bringing us in the cabin with you, beautiful landscapes and good music ... always the number one for travel in northern europe. Good road my friend !!! 👍👍👍
Just found your video,The best lorry driving video I have come across regarding the camera angles and content. I, like a lot of viewers I assume, are retired drivers. And its good to have a real "through the windscreen" film. thank you, and safe journeys.
Thank you very much Ron 😁👍 I am fine thank you, just getting slightly tired, I look forward to the spring now to be honest... The weather has been downright tiresome this season..
I'm amazed at how quiet your truck is. I used to drive an International 9700 years ago (325 hp, 9 speed, 16m trailer), and it was much louder inside. I drove mostly in to and out of Quebec in Canada. I remember many nights of heavy snow, -40°C, putting on tire chains (we called it "hanging iron).
Great video, looking forward to the trip home. Recognized some of the places from watching European Roads and Teslabjørn's videos. I have even driven my virtual Scania truck (garaged in Aalburg) through some areas (like E6) in Norway on the European Truck Simulator game. Unfortunately they only did the very southern part of Norway but a enthusiasts group called ProMods added the road and some cities from Oslo to Trondheim. Apparently the person who was working on Norway got sick and wasn't able to return to it, at least the story I heard. With Sweden and Finland they went all the way north, maybe someday Norway will be completed. The other thing is that the game is only set in summer although since you can't get out of your truck to put on chains that's probably a good thing.
Great to have you make me stop the video and scan the European Road Map for the places that you are at, or going to. Makes me want to be back on the road again....even at 75yrs of age :( Drive safe, [see] you in part two. Grahame.
Hahaha 😂 that is awesome Grahame, a couple of hours ago, I talked to my wife, and I asked her if, I should have made a map for the video? , and her reply was prompt, she said : no, your viewers will enjoy being a little interactive with your video 😁👍 I guess I should listen to her more 😉😂😂 Either way, I am happy you enjoyed the trip 😉👍 I promise to work hard on getting part two done 😉

Maybe it is a dumb question but, how much the ferry cost from Danmark to Sweden? Wouldn't it be more cheaper to get to Sweden on the road via the bridge/tunnel between Copenhagen and Malmö?
It's not a dumb question, and the reason why we use the ferries from Gothenburg, is that it is quite a long detour if we continue to Malmö, and use the bridge ( which is also pretty costly to cross) Often we use the "ferry rule" for our nightly rest, and we can deliver in ie Padborg, by the border to Germany, about 12 hours earlier.. Where i live, no one can drive when there's 5cm fo snow, all the truck stop by the side of the roads. Do you just drive slower, or do you have special tires, or are you more skilled ?
Hi Sillicates 😊 of course we drive a little slower on these narrow winding roads, much depending on the temperature, the colder, the faster we go, the worst temperatures are those just around 0 degrees C. The snow gets wet and more slippery. Driving in Norway, requires real winter tires on all axles, it is mandatory from Oct 15th to April 15th for the North.. If you get stopped for inspection, you won't be allowed to continue your trip, before all tires has been changed, and approved and you will get a hefty fine on top. Another thing that helps us to keep going, is that we use 3 axle trucks, bogie or tandem drive, the 2 axle trucks used in Southern Europe, aren't suitable for driving in these conditions.
Usually a round-trip is between 8 to 10 days, depending if the loads are finished in time, road closures due to bad weather etc. Some trips, I offload in Sweden, then take another trip before I go home.. Then ofc some extra days are added 😉
Slipses, did you ever upload your video of part 3 ,your trip down to Italy?, ( I've never been able to find it, gave up after a while), but I'm curious If I have missed it , Your still the best with the variety of camera angles with views, plus well balanced background music.

Just a hint. Leave the music out from these videos. I watch a lot of POV driving channels and music really ruins these videos. We viewers like to listen to the engine work and all that. Otherwise good stuff.
I hear you, but to me music is part of driving, and besides, you'd be bored by listening to the audio books I listen to - in Danish 😉 and my phone conversations I like to keep private 😉 so I try make this combination.. Believe me, it is hard to suit everyones taste in videos 😉
I see. Some people stop other stuff they are doing just to give these videos natural sound effects. But I know it can be inconvenient. Kristo Boginski is a good example tho. Keep it up even if my opinion isn't something you want to pursue. Greetings from Finland.
