hey i finally buy my gen 6 carbon and this has loose plastic bezel, ill reapply it with glue should i disable the battery in bios and remove the battery first? or just go glue the bezel. thanks .
The plastic around the screen? No need to disconnect the battery for that, but you don't want to use glue, it's double sided tape.

i have bought a refurbished x1c6 and the trackpoint has drifting problem.
i can't disable the trackpoint even though i disabled it in bios, it's still working. yes, i have reinstalled the UltraNav driver and firmware yadayada.
how can i disable the trackpoint in a hardware level?
Might have to disconnect the cable of the keyboard
@@ItsBinhRepaired i'm sorry, but which cable? wouldn't it disable the entire keyboard? or it has a separate cable for only the trackpoint?
@alifnaufal at 2:51 you can see an orangish copper flat ribbon cable. I'm not sure if it'll work, but you could possibly sever it. If that's not the issue though, you'll be stuck with the issue and no trackpoint nib.
@@ItsBinhRepairedi really appreciate the reply, thank you. it seems that i have to make sure if this is 100% a hardware nub faulty or i'll be damned because replacing the whole keyboard on x1c6 cost $90 here (converted). i'll let you know how it goes
@@alifnaufal try disconnecting the keyboard and see if it stops. You can use a usb one temporarily
