@@FonzSuda7403 with how relatively small halos narrative universe is any canonical media can directly affect any upcoming games which can cause confusion for any game only players. Halo is not like Star wars where they can pick a time and location completely separate from the big plot points and do their own thing

@@user-lg5xu6id5j He said that he dose not like the books (without having read them), he said that 343i/Microsoft should stop making new books, but books have always existed and always played a role in the story of the games, what happened between Halo 1 and Halo 2? How did Jonson survive? Read a book. What happened between Halo 2 and Halo 3? Read a comic. And now after 23 years the books/comics are simply a big part of Halo, Halo is not just the games, and it's been like that for a long time, so, i don't think that he is wrong, story related things could be done better, but why limiting the possibilities for telling interesting stories just because you don't want to read a book?

The rest of Halo 2's story doesn't get affected directly. In Halo infinite you are wondering why are we on Zeta Halo? Where is Cortana her Created? Where are the Created supported Covenant faction? How did Banished get so powerful? How did Atriox get off the Ark? Where is the Didact? Where is Fireteam Osiris?Where is Warden Eternal? Where are the Prometheans? Where is the Arbiter? Where is the SoS? Why is the Banished fighting the rest of the UNSC?
Where is Halsey? Where is Blue Team? 343 can't write for shit.
