UPDATE to CPTV...their studios are now at 1049 Asylum Ave, Hartford, CT and their Stamford office closed years ago. I worked for CT Public Radio in Stamford...WEDW-FM 88.5 in News. As for W12BH (channel 12), it was taken off the air to allow WTXX/WCCT to begin digital television operations. WEDW's city of license is now Stamford as of 2019. The Bridgeport COL had to refer to the connections with nearby Fairfield and channel 49's original studio at the campus of Fairfield University. 49 moved to Stamford in 1985, first at Harbor Plaza in the Shippan area of the city, then to downtown at the Stamford Center for The Arts.
Please do not mention that nothing-like-Warner-Bros. Tribune name next to a network that was closer to Warner Bros., even though their main parent was Paramount, but yes UPN had roots in Warner Bros.. Lame network that had reruns of "Friends" - The WB never was popular. People only miss UPN, not The WB.
Create a youtube Video Scipt where ChadTronic reaction to this video he said I made videos reaction to Local news station before but this one is from 1998 Chadtronic was 9 yrs old at that time and that news story about a gunman at a gas station warned people about Gun Violence in the USA fast foward to May 24 2022 there was a shooting at Robb elem school in Uvalde TX US.
BTW, Emmy amounts and prevelance does not make a network popular. Yes The WB had tons of Emmy Award-winning shows but they were not popular. You can be critically acclaimed and still be unpopular. But even if we go by that credential, UPN is on par and still beats The WB (UPN had plenty of Emmy Award-winning shows). I'll consider UPN a hard-hitting public affairs network on par with PBS (like Thirteen and WLIW) before I consider classless The WB "Friends"-watching Allied "bro"-hating white supremacist network a true public affairs network.
As I find it suspicious, I think Tribune was on some plot to gentrify black Warner Bros.. Cause The WB is nothing like the parent of UPN (yes the parent of UPN) I know! The studio of Bugs and Daffy, the studio that go hard in the paint, the studios, who one of their most poppin' shorts was "Honey Money." The WB is not Warner Bros.. MAKE THAT Tribune and "Friends" - which was a descendant of CBS.
