I'm planning the drive from Wisemans Ferry to Wollombi in a couple of weeks. Obviously most of the Great North Road is now in-accessible to vehicles but it does still look to be a nice drive. If you have any spots to check out please let me know. I will have someone with me that can not walk far.
Mick Graham I remember replacing a bent rod on that track when it was open nearby just of the ferry, yes I was stupid and did not walk it..but I got Because I had to hand pull here out with a coma long winch, then replace the rod ,to smile to get out ,
