Yes we got snow as well in Nova Scotia about 15 -20 cms Friday we also got hit Thursday. I drive dump truck and plow with it in the winter for the company I work for so needless to say I had a few busy days plowing. I try so hard to follow these tutorials..spend 100s of dollars to buy makeup...yet I look so bad..damn.. my base makeup looks cakey and eye makeup looks soooo overdone..helppppp!!!! 😭
mrs ali Try using less product for the base and always use a damp beauty sponge. Also use products suitable for your skin(oily/dry) . As for the eye makeup,try doing looks that make you feel comfortable because sometimes the looks youtubers do can be quite dramatic and our perception of "too much makeup" can be different(what you find overdone may be just a natural look for someone) . Try building the colors.And remember everything is filmed on camera so what you see in videos may be different from reality :)

Loving your videos Carly, but as a cruelty free and "vegan" makeup artist, you should have said you are not using vegan eyeshadow palette, since abh soft glam palette has carmine in it. Idk, I am just bothered with it, since you have so many influence on other people and probably, you have also inspire many to search for cf and vegan makeup products. It just doesn't seems right to me.
