Hello beauties :) Happy new year!! I hope everyone enjoyed their time off to celebrate the holidays. I am 34 and single. And ever since i was 19 years old I dreamed of being married and having a beautiful wedding. To this day, that has remained a dream but I have learned to be kind to myself, patient and trust the process of greater power above me. I had been in a relationship since I was 14. Found myself engaged at 18. I went to college and we broke up. I had flings here and there, then met the love of my life at 19. We broke up when I was 20. I just turned 23. Time has healed my heart and I told myself I am going to dedicate 4 years being single. This is my 3rd year and so far it’s amazing. Taking time for yourself is so important.

You probably won't see this comment but I wanted to tell you that I love you and that I'm 53 (very young at heart) and I went thru and still suffer from depression from when my brother was killed. You've really inspired me to live my life and to try and be more grateful Altho I'm always grateful and I just wanted to thank you!

Thanks for your positivity in this video. I lost my baby boy in September and I’ve been having such a hard time with accepting that I have to live the rest of my life without him. He was my world and now sometimes I feel like I have no purpose without him, it gets really hard sometimes. I would recommend these books so that people can have more insight about infant loss and I think it will help people be more grateful and compassionate:

That first relationship after leaving a long term relationship always seems to be so gut wrenching. I left a 7 year marriage, he was really abusive and I knew 10 months before that I was leaving, I just needed to find my strength and courage to walk away. About a month and a half after I left I reconnected with a guy I had known for a long time. We instantly fell in love and the love story behind it was sooooo perfect. We had known each other since we were 14 (I’m 34 now) and he was always the boy I REALLY REALLY liked but never ever thought he’d give me the time of day in a relationship. But I found out he felt the same exact way as I had, he was crazy about ME but thought I wouldn’t like him that way. We were together for 6 months and during that time I started realizing he was an alcoholic, he drank every morning and couldn’t ever come to me, I would always have to go pick him up. But what made me realize I couldn’t be with him was when I asked him, “what do you do when you’re drunk and you get a call from the school saying one of your daughters need you?” His response, “oh it happens a lot, I just call their mom or have my mom go”. It wasn’t a big deal to him at all which tells me he puts alcohol before his kids. I have kids, very impressionable boys, I refuse to make them experience that after experiencing their mom be disrespected for 7 years. I was devastated that I had to end what I thought was the perfect love story, the hopeless romantic in me was so sad. Now I’ve been single for 2 years and it’s because I want to be. It’s going to take a damn near perfect man to get involved in my boys lives

Omg I had the exact thing happen to me. I don’t have kids but I imagined that we would end up together and I wanted to believe the universe brought us together, but time showed me he was unstable and not ready for a relationship. He depended on me to fix him.

I think it's so important especially in your mid/late twenties to be alone and experience life for yourself before you center it around a relationship. However everythung happens the way it's supposed to and your current journey is what you need right now. Thank you for your comment. I’m 23 and I look all around me and all 20 year olds I know have 3 kids and happily married... sometimes I feel I want that but then I again I still crave so much more in life that I’m yet to live.
As women we give so much of ourselves it happens without knowing it, but being single is so healthy and good for you. I LOVE being myself and alone. I started watching abraham hicks videos (she has a great interview w/Wayne Dwyer too) but it about learning how important what you think about is and you have to train your mind to think better (positive!) she has a great morning rampage talking about how it's a new day, your new day to choose how you feel and pay attention to your feelings and if you stumble look to your inner being (soul) for guidance to keep going cause this is your time. That life is meant to be fun!! It really helps, there are so many but I like the rampages best. xo

I have been watching you probably since like 2014, but I want to say that I am praying for you, sending good vibes, and hugs. You were born for a great purpose. Dealing with feelings after a HUGE breakup is always tough, but I want to let you know that is God is there for you (even if you don't believe in him (IDK if you do or not)), and your subscribers are there too, boo. Don't give up, and don't stop growing as a person. Like what you said, in challenging times, we do really grow as people, and its because our true selves are revealed. All the things we have been blinded or distracted by are fading away and we are confronted with the situations we have experienced and our feelings. Continue to seek peace and truth during this season of life. 💜 (BTW, Im not the type of person to comment on posts, let ALONE write a paragraph, but I felt VERY strongly that you needed to hear this).

Hey Carli, I've been reading this one particular book over and over for the past 4 years, and every time I read, it's as if it's showing me where I am currently, and why. So when you shared your current experience, it totally came to mind. This is for anyone reading this as well. It's called the Secret of the Vine by Bruce Wilkinson. It talks about why certain things keep happening to us, and how similar our lives are to the grapevine. It's based off how the grapevine grows and what the vinedresser does to make it product more fruit. More branches and leaves doesn't always mean more fruit. Most times it actually blocks the sun from shining directly onto the leaves and branches to help them product more fruit instead of flourishing more leaves to "look" abundant. So take this analogy and apply it to your life. What you thought looked great outwardly, actually wasn't going to help you to produce more fruit, so hence, you got pruned. We may not see the big picture now, but if we continue to do the same things over and over, it will change from pruning to discipline, until we get the lesson. And the funny thing is you would think pruning would kill the plant, but it's the complete opposite. It actually makes it produce more fruit than it would have if it continued to grow more branches and leaves, which just makes it look abundant but it's potential to grow more fruit decreases. It's really eye opening for those of us who keep repeating the same things in life, and wondering why life keeps giving us the same results. It is a spiritual book that is worth reading.

I have been alone for about 7 months. My husband left me for another woman. I understand where you are coming from. Learning to be alone after a breakup is really hard. I think I paced the house for the first few months. I lost 30 lbs in like 3 months.

Wishing everyone a happy new year! Carli I love that you do meditation is honestly the answers to all my problems I hope you can give it a try every day because it will help you a lot. Make it habit to check in with yourself in a daily you will find out so much about yourself and the universe. Some people are meant to leave your life because they have fulfilled their purpose. I promise meditation is the best tool for anxiety depression or other questions let the universe set everything back into place for new beginnings this is why is hard because things that don’t serve us anymore have to go. This is why when you cleanse some people get sick and it gets hard but after you feel so clear headed and healthy. Cleanse not just items but your body and mind. We love you!
never tried meditating before but always hear good things. I make a habit of anointing my home and praying over it.

It took me a long time to finally be ok with being single after a traumatic and painful break up back in 2016. For the first time since I was 15 I was single (I was 20 when I had my bad break up). It was SO HARD to get used to it cuz I was the type of girl to immerse herself into a relationship. But learning to be single was something I needed, because now I’m dating the love of my life and I was ready for him because I’d grown and changed so much. You got this Carli 💕
I used to watch your videos all day everyday. I stopped around a year and a half ago because I wanted to concentrate in college and my future, so I wanna say I did see a lot of your relationship. You guys were beautiful together, but I have to say that if you ever have to choose between you and someone you love, choose yourself. Sometimes things don’t work the way we want them to. You got this, work on yourself and don’t let anyone stop you. I just got out of a toxic relationship. It was my first relationship that lasted 4 years, I was very hurt mentally and emotionally because he cheated 5 times and I didn’t know, but I figured it’s me and me in the end. I have to replenish myself and find meaning and purpose in life. You are very strong and courageous, you are also very stunning. You’ll find true love. Mark my words. Feel better ❤️
Imagine being so bold as to assume that Carli and Bret are soulmates or they HAVE to be together. Um unless you know both of them personally it’s really toxic, to say things like that. The only people who knows what their relationship was like and why they broke up is Bret and Carli. NOT You. I was the same way with relationships. I really had enough so I decided to take time and work on myself. It’s been 7 years or more since I have been with anyone, or in any relationships. I am content and happy being single. So you’re going to have to be pretty special to change that.
wow same for me too. Been a single mom 7yrs now and its been a blessing in disguise. I've been single for a few years and during this time is when I grew in maturity and strength. Many dont realize that being single can be a blessing. You have to embrace it and use that time wisely. So nice to be able to connect with others who are similar 🤗.

I went through this in my early twenties. My longest relationship, he just had no future aspirations. I wanted more. I moved on. Then I dated a guy that was perfect. Until I was so eager to make sure I was different in the second relationship I put to much into it to fast. He left. You need to be in a state where there are no expectations of that relationship. Just a truly natural one that over time will evolve. Good luck;)

I know that if I can get through what I'm going through then you can get through this too. It will definitely make you stronger! I am going through a difficult time and basically having to start my life over as a single mom with three kids. And let me tell you it's rough but I know down the road it'll get easier and life will get better. Love you and you're doing a great job!
