@mischa12 actually the Japanese divorce rate is ever increasing because of their way/standards of meeting, dating, and marrying. These ways are changing and they are currently reinventing their standards on meeting, dating, and marrying. This kind of wedding is beautiful but somewhat stressful. The wig is heavy, the kimono is very heavy and very tight. So tight in fact, they encourage the bride to eat very little; which they have a big big meal at the ceremony with lots of drink.
i love kimonos and japanese culture too,,,but this time i get married with a finn,,,in italy in a week,,but my japanese friend will attend,,and will wear a yukata kimono :)
I watched the video before I saw where yall were. I KNEW it was Muroran! I recognized the man that came in. Doesn't he own a lot of Yakatori restaurants? Maybe it's him. We are going back to Muroran for the Jazz Cruise. And we may be getting married there. It's so wild that I saw your video today.Are you living in the USA or Nippon? lol my boyfriend is japanese and I'm black american. His mom wants us to get married traditional like. I hate the wig but once they did the makeup on me (not the white powder ppl) I felt like a model lol
@beccaotaku probably cause her hair was too short to make it in the style of that wig, and even if it was long enough , what they would have to go through for her to get that hairstyle is a little more painful than what american women go through to get their hair ready for wedding.
