I unloaded ties for Norfolk Southern for about 5 years. Good video of how the operation works!

Those Brandy trucks really have some muscle. Caught some on ballast spreading and they do it with ease. Nice steady drone work made it feel like one is right there in the air. CSX still old way on using gondolas whereas many lines use old coal rotaries. Good coverage on a task normally overlooked

I've searched for hours trying to find a good car topper video finally found one. That's actually my job but I work for a very large international RR contractor that does it for class 1 RRs

Seems like all railroads are upgrading their track. CN is upgrading the track by me

Not for long . They are going on strike
I hope they don't have to stay on strike for long

Yes, that crew down there came from up here on the old B&O between Washington, IN & Flora IL. Did 72 miles of track! I wonder if that gang will come up here to work?

@@Grainexpress I am not sure. They have been replacing ties here and some rail, as well as the ties under most all the crossings. I don’t think they have finished yet, as there are still new ties still laying out.

A really good excavator operator can do that at 3 mph.
