The positive and negative is defined of the rune was reversed or just normal, like when someone casts a rune I always have them drop the rune midair, weather it lands face down (reverse)(negative) or right side up (normal) aka (positive) this is important when your casting so you know to warn someone of a future threat or obstacle. Just an fyi :)
