Pretty but I can resist...I'd rather have the stones or chips. I also use the poems, not the guide books...I think it's like the iChing, lots of books that tell you what they think it means but I think you can clean more by going to the source (even if translated).
@@Lisa_Papez For Anglo Saxon - anglosaxonpoetry.camden.rutgers.edu/the-rune-poem/ or this site has the icelandic, nordic, and Anglo Saxon: www.runewebvitki.com/rune-poems if you want a book, my favorite is the Runes for Transformation by Kaedrich Olsen
Me too! Love these cards, but I prefer using runes on wooden tiles or stones. Same with Ogham, I prefer wooden sticks/branches instead of oracle cards. But yeah, this set is pretty!
I have fehu and ansuz tattooed and when you were shuffling I was thinking “I wish you chose one of them”, and then not only you pulled ansuz, but you read the description of fehu hahahahaha loved this review! Definitely getting this deck.
Those are really nice! I want a wood set of runes but may have to consider adding a deck after seeing these. Don't know why this never occurred to look.
There's another one called the Telluric Rune deck that Modernmetaphysicman did a walkthrough on - and those are gorgeous and add some plant energy as well. That artist has a Tarot called Telluric Tarot on Kickstarter right now also!
@@HelkiRainTheWokeWitch ROFLMAO I can only imagine!!!! I know people were probably seriously twitching! And yesss I love my onyx runes too and noticed how matchy matchy they were when I was setting up to film. Hehehehe
Who is the Author? I use Crystal Runes, but have also a very old French double deck and the Nigel Pennick one (I don't use from a lot because I don't remember where I placed 😅)
Hello, really love this deck, where can I purchase it? I can’t seem to find it. If u r able to share a link for it that would be very much appreciated🥰
Description updated with a link! Looks like it's currently out of stock but a restock is planned since it says "coming soon" The version will probably be a little different.
I think you have to start studying Runes before using this deck (I am a Rune Teacher, by the way). And I suggest you to totally consacrate the deck before using.
You're breaking my heart! I'd love to get this deck, but it's not on Amazon-- which is the only shipper I can be sure will eventually deliver my orders to me. *sigh*
Ok, the "deck" is beautiful to see, but nothing special. My French double deck, even if in normal card type, is much more. I have a project about Rune Cards. They will not be in golden and black, but they will be a very different kind of.
PS some names are not properly translated. And this is the short Furthark I don't use. I work with 25 Runes (I found this system is called also Urthark)
Whoops 😬 Ansuz and Fehu do look similar. It happens. 😊
Gorgeous deck! Thanks for showing it.
Much love and light your way ❤️😘
Wow those are really amazing...I’ve never seen anything like that cardstock!! The sound they make is full ASMR 😆

Do you have a good link to a translation of the poems?

I agree, they are very beautiful but I still would prefer the set I made myself from clay.
@@Lisa_Papez aren't they on Wikipedia?

These are really beautiful Lisa - quite unique & stunning! Really appreciate you sharing your treasures x

i had to go buy these, they are beyond beautiful,
Such a gorgeous deck of cards with simple words!
Interesting deck. I enjoy seeing things that are a bit different. Thanks for sharing. x
If you don’t know Heilung they’re a must while studying the runes.

12:28 Aleph (the first letter in Hebrew) relates to ox, and is the parallel of Uruz when it comes to symbolism, definitely not Fehu
Yup :) I left my mistake in but I do catch it a bit later in the video ;) I am still new to runes - so there's a definite learning curve for me!

Lisaaaaaaaaaaaa do you know what this video encouraged me to do!!!! YUP YUP ordered them! Beautiful truly stunning!!!
They really are gorgeoussssss!
I am just in love with your black ruins in the background and now you've got a deck to match them now haha!
I'm so glad you realised you were reading the wrong rune, it was making me anxious haha!!

That will look amazing in candlelight!
Of course 31 in unlucky in Norse mythology being 13 reversed... NO, JUST KIDDING!

Whoops, you read the wrong page!
Bahahahaha YEP sure did!!! 😂
You read the wrong meaning! You pulled Ansuz, not Fehu...
Yep :) I catch that in the video and correct it. 😂
