Welonz, blowing up a storefront and murdering everyone within, found standing over a mountain of charred corpses: "Why are the law enforcement mad at me?"
The iron throne isn't an actual throne, it's a place. If I'm not mistaken it was the base of operation of Sarevok and his allies in BG1. It was destroyed and sunk at the bottom of the harbour afterwards.
Feels like at this point there should be an edition of the Baldur's Mouth Gazette like: "Mysterious figure strikes again. House ransacked of all valuables and multiple bodies found inside." and then a separate headline: "Market flooded with iron daggers. Merchants baffled by adventurer showing up with houses worth of stock."
Yeah going straight to the counting house was a good idea, there's just sooo many houses! Flymm's Cobblers at 18:03 is a place you might want to check out though!
15:00 So not a big deal but I thought you might like to know there's a little bit of unique dialogue with this merchant if you bring Karlach along when you talk to them. Nothing major just like when you had her around for her parents tombstones.
You can mark houses with custom markers. My advice for one house would be the one you've found, sneakily hidden, Flymm's Cobblers (although there are some nice easter eggs and interactions hidden all over, plus the endless looting). Btw, I like how we are going to Counting House to save .... Minthara. That's an adventurous and optimistic spirit right there! My questions to the houses would be: You need to break the wall to access some hidden room with a chest, like in here 37:52. But how do owners access it? Or it isn't theirs, and they don't know about it, and it is some treasure hidden "back in the day"/"some time ago, like in Balduran's times"? But how come they didn't find it when they build a house, or it is an old-old house? Btw, I know about suspension of disbelief, especially in RPGs (especially in Larian RPGs with their map and level design), just saying, I have so many questions about chests behind breakable doors in random vendor/NPC cellar.
"Why do I associate Dwarves with gold" the answer is JRR Tolkien, at least in terms of the wider effect on modern pop culture, as many other stories since then have been inspired by him. There's more to it than that, especially over time, and there's also conversation to be had about how some of these fantasy races are also unfortunately rooted in anti-semitism. An obsession with gold/money is often a negative stereotype about Jewish people, especially when combined with things like...exaggeratedly long noses and other often anti-semitic imagery.
Would you (later) go to those three civilians being lined up by the steelwatcher, and talk to the third one you skipped, please? I know it’s just going to be inconsequential fluff dialogue, but it feels so uncomfortable with the pattern incompleted… 😅
This might be spoilery but... (Maybe spoiler) . . Is it truth that Orin kills your companion if you take too long to rescue them? It took me a while to figure out how to rescue Lae'zel in my safe and she was fine but dunno a patch maybe?
spoiler ----------------------------------------- No, it isn't true, and no patch changed that, it isn't timed. It is community myth/misconception, that is prone to myths/misconceptions, like silencing certain character makes them stop singing. But, once you enter the temple area (which is specifically temple area with your companion that needs to be rescued in the center of it), you gotta commit, then there is some "timer" (longrest basically), and always has been. To be fair, no one really knows how the game works, so myths are common, and questions are normal.
I know I shouldn't spoil but since you mentioned worrying about minthara, I genuinely think she might be dead already coz I'm sure it's timed from the time you start the murder tribunal, so I'd maybe go there next, incase it I'm right about it being time based, but you might still be within the amount of long rests limit
in my first playtrough im pretty sure i took long rests worth 2 months before i went to get my kidnapped companion and they were very much alive still. I dont feel like googling it so feel free to tell me im wrong if i am.
So, how are we all feeling about our playthrough length predictions from part 51 when Welonz asked for them? I picked 168 parts and I'm feeling somewhat good.
I was jelous of Halsin and Shadowheart flirting so when Halsin got kidnapped I took my time rescuing him; I completed almost all quest, even went to the circus and I am sad to report the bear was still alive. Edit: (SPOILER) Read somewhere in reddit that the quest is timed IF the murder tribunal is completed, not sure how accurate that is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You know, it's a good thing this cuts off when it does. Minsc really requires a full video. By the by, the "Iron Crisis" mentioned in that book, was Sarevok's doing as part of his plot to cause a war that would grant him godhood through mass death, and Abdul was the (canonical) heroic Bhaalspawn who Jaheira and Minsc were companions to. Together they defeated Abdul's "brother."
You only broke into half the houses on the way to the bank. Congratulations, Welonz. Here, have a cookie.
Sometimes when a guard spots you, it's not because they saw you, but because they heard you. Sneak to be quiet.

😄😆🤣😂
HEY they were bad people who tried to bomb children!!!
@@Welonz Just like a real fireworks store

15:30 Welonz you should go back to her with Karlach in your party.

rest assured i am 100000% gonna look at every single house, it's just a matter of time 🤣

I laughed when Karlach was taken out of the party for just long enough to miss it and then immediately put back in.
Me, when I wake up and I'm still 5'5": 3:18
Absolutely love the thumbnail

The purple stuff is Very Rare rarity, you looked at everything but the good stuff with those merchants...
Sarevok Anchev sits within the iron throne, or at least he did, a century ago.
16:29 Armor of Agility, the best armor for DEX characters, well it is medium armor, so for DEX characters who can wear it ofc
For the loot goblin in me, I felt compelled to mention: you haven't checked out the fireworks shop cellar. You picked up the key from the corpse.
I checked it last episode already
@Welonz Oops, my bad. I guess I didn't pay enough attention.
Ohhh you should bring Karlach back with you to that vendor. Also the Deadshot Bow js perfect for Astarion
Are u already getting mentally prepared for that 100K Q&A? lol
🗿

Welonz, take Karlach to the merchant you speak to at the 15 min mark! hidden dialogue!
Ah Lae'zel not liking when you help people, smh; Brings back memories :D

@zZSleepytimeZz maybe it's just a myth then. Hope so!

I think that's a underestimate. I picked 220 and I'm feeling better.

Hope everyone's doing well today
No tale hostel ??? Is that a Cyberpunk reference?
Nortale's Hostel
as if Pamella Nortale, the owner
I don't think it is, but might be a very subtle one, who knows
