I am not surprised that Philippines will be a superpower in SEA. Several mega projects and build, build, build projects will be the the catalyst that drives the country to be a developed country within a decade.
Philippines is a lower middle income country it is not even a upper middle income country much less a high income country to qualify as a developed country. Its GDP Per Capita is only $ 3,492 ranked 148th lowest in the world. It is poorer than its neighbours Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore even Indonesia and Vietnam. Nevermind its infra projects. And projections is that Philippines will still be poorer than these countries over the next 30 years up to 2050 according the PWC The World in 2050 report

If Arca doesn’t get connected to the rail network (and there’s every chance that rail spending will stop or slow significantly under a new administration) then Arca South will be a big white elephant. The surrounding infrastructure is shockingly bad so without alternative ways to transport goods and services and human capital in and out it will never flourish. The Philippines economy has taken an enormous hit with Covid-19 and IMF forecasts it will be one of the slowest to recover in Asia. A new administration coming in will have the spectre of huge loans to pay off, less income coming in and an economic depression to deal with. Expect many build build build infrastructure projects to be put on hold.

My Solution: All Future Metro Manila Buildings that Includes Skyscrapers Should be Added with Trees and Plants to Become Vertical Forest Just Like the Bosco Verticale in Italy and Liuzhou Forest City in China
It's far from complete. I used to have some projects there years ago. Would be interesting to see how it would turn out once completed. If you ask me it's actually out of way from the usual places you go to on Metro Manila. I live from the North side of Metro Manila and that's just my impression regarding its accessibility compared to Makati and BGC.
That’s the prediction of what the Philippines will be in the next 5 years, the Philippines will be the new “tiger on the rise”... ‘apparently according’ to some prophet or ‘time traveller’...
The problem is accessibility. Going here is the same as the bottlenecks going to BGC. I just hope it would not be as crowded as BGC since the development here is mostly low to mid rise. For me, nothing can beat Makati CBD in terms of accessibility. And the road networks in Makati CBD is better laid off. Although it is also a pain in the ass during rush hours but at least you have more transportation options. BGC is hell if you don’t have your own car. I hope Arca South won’t repeat the mistakes of BGC & they should study carefully their traffic routes.
It's great, but the issue here is if this area is developed that will mean more traffic going to this place. That means if you are in the Triumph Area, it's going to be congested as hell.

Its a good investment for Taguig since the so called "Probinsyudad" is lagging way behind QC and Makati
Town planner should consider the future provision for tram lines in this kind of office+residential developments.

Most business districts in the Philippines always has a slum nearby. Most of them. Even in Cebu and Davao.
@@TheAmelito123 Even if it is developed fully, when you get out of that enclave what you will see are slums whichever directions you go.

That is mini bgc..
Yes may arca south na pero wala pang mga constructions..hahaha..Could surpass BGC?Ewan ko nalang..wag na tau magsalita ng tapos..
And in the meantime, it is totally surrounded by slum area.
Vertis North, Cloverleaf, Newport City used to be slum areas. BGC is still surrounded by slum but people living and working there doesnt care.
These townships are so tiresome, not a lot of charm. Sterile and just filled with gimmick malls.
