I’ve been lucky enough to experience this car. Both as a passenger and driver. Great bit of kit and well built. Great Video looking forward to seeing more.
Many thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video. Wheels were custom made by team dynamics (pro race 1.2). They’re 7.5j x 17”, ET45 and are direct bore (no spigot rings). Tyre wise we ran 235/40/17 Nankang AR1’s. Probably as wide as you can go and we had to run some aggressive camber with the drop for clearance!
Glad you like it. The coils are mentioned in the video. Okada projects - plasma direct. Can’t remember plugs but will depend on build as these can be specific to power output and heat management.
Appreciate the love. Was a mega project. We ran quite an aggressive amount of camber, from memory it was around 4 degrees front and 2.5 rear +/-. It worked well and meant running low didn’t give any tolerance issues with the arch’s.
I had 2 clios and drove most of the RS versions including a Williams. The 197/200 are definitely too heavy for the "ideal" track car. The steering is weak and bland and the gearbox will not take track days. You'll have to put serious cash in it to be able to race it. Better get a Clio 172/182 and go with that.
The 172/182 aren’t without their issues. The chassis although heavier in the 197/200 is more solid and as a whole offers more. Both generations have their place but even in standard form a well driven 200 can be a riot to drive and quick 😀
Nous les gt turbo reste encore bc en Espagne et complètement stoc et ça roule toujours depuis 1985 j était à l armée quant elle et sortie le gt turbo c est la suite logique non 🙏
Interesting take. It’s mid way through being prepped post strip down for the wrap as mentioned a handful of times on the video. Feel free to bring your track car along to a track day, will be interesting to see how you do against it 😉
@@Carbonwurks no you called me out so get a ticket or let’s put a date together early October Donnington or Oulton somewhere between us and I am happy to see how your Clio goes again a real cup car
That fair, we would be keen to see how it goes against a proper cup car. Would make an interesting battle. Donny or oulton would be a good shout. Banter and jokes aside, let’s set something up 👍🏻

You’re always welcome in the Baguette 🥖 my man! 😂
Round of applause for the engineering very neat.
Appreciate the compliment 👍🏻
Thats pure Art!
Thanks Ali, glad you enjoyed it :)
Great Video! Would love to see this thing sprinting around a circuit!
Thanks Terry! Glad you like it. Yes we’re gonna drop another video from a recent track day soon :)
Awesome build! Wheel fitment is perfect. What is the width and offset?

Great car. Which ignition coils and which spark plug are you using?

Blimey. Off the scale!
Thanks buddy! Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Hello, where did you manage to get composite body panels? Quality seems very good!
From memory they are from CCF Fibreglass. Fitted pretty well and had good stability at speed.
Sam's a legend!
Get him to introduce you to my mk1!
Sam is indeed on the legendary status. We would love to see the MK1, I believe this has popped up in conversations before funnily enough!
Great video and a stunning car, how much front camber do you usually run on the front and rear??

Lovely car and upgrades. Love my Clio 3 1.5dci 85bhp. Unfortunately the only thing I would beat yours on is fuel economy 😅
This Clio was getting through over 150 litres of fuel on a single trackday! 😬
@@Carbonwurks wow, a fun way to burn through it though 😀
It was while it lasted!
What a machine
She was quite the beast!
Perhaps the most ultimate clio 3 rs I know of/seen?
It’s certainly got to rank up there for one of the more extreme setups on a Clio!
hello, why you remove the upper engine arm? it's better? do you suggest also on regular clio 3 rs? thank you
I think this is more model specific. This had upgraded mounts to the factory options.
How much power is it running?
It's approx 300bhp at the moment but think we could a bit more out of it we some more work!
@@Carbonwurks how much u spent on it to get it there. The clio with more power would be an ultimate beast.
Lost count :D
Are these parts to buy?
They sure are! Get in touch via email and we’ll see what we can do.

What is the race really weight on this lovely car 🤩🤩🤩
We’ve not weighed it properly since the supercharger has been put on. It’s roughly around 960-980kg.
Thanks for the compliments! 😀
what is the name of the color for the vinyl wrap?
This is 3M dark satin grey 👍🏻
Do you guys make and sell the bonnet?
Sadly this was just a one-off piece and was quite expensive as you can imagine!
@@Carbonwurks shame it looks great but I can imagine the average clio track baguette owner would bolt at the price 🤣
Yeah that’s the worry! It does look awesome but I don’t think it would be a hot seller 😂
Rythme que vous ayez des cup 200 rs c est hyper rare les 200 protéger la 🙏😶🤲🇨🇵👉☝️
Great!

Good job
Et d origine ce revend mieux mais le 200 peux faire bc de kilomètres juste comme ça 👉☝️🇨🇵
Thanks
who is this guy? schumaher clone?
Ha, not too sure about that…
Garder toute pièce d origine et arrêter de les casser svp ❤
Quoi? 😂
👌🏼

Many thanks 😀
Love the bolts rattling around in the boot /hood/bonnet 🤷🏿♂️ another racing driver that doesn’t know his arse from his mouth
