I returned Phone (2). It is a very mediocre phone that is unpolished in many areas. The glyph is a one-trick pony that gets old after 2 days. I couldn't justify the price of $700 (US) to keep as a second phone and it definitely wasn't even close to be enough to switch to daily driver from S23 Ultra.
I will wait 2 or 3 months, or I will go for Google Pixel 7 or OnePlus 11, which are cheaper and better. Nothing Phones 1 was having to many software issues, thats why I sold it and went to Google Pixel 6

After consuming a ton of reviews on the newer model I may be SLIGHTLY softening my disappointment, but only slightly. I still feel it's slightly overpriced for what it offers, and still feel the glyph action is simply a gimmick which requires a clear case if you want to protect it, as most people do. Though I'm man enough to admit that the likely software support, plus wireless charging and 1-120hz panel warrant a price jump of some description, I still feel it's probably jumped a tad too much IMO, especially with the other offerings available.

@@ranaprash any update for us yet? having the same struggle
liv seggs. I was also deciding between both of these but went with the redmi note 12 turbo 16/1tb to blast through gachas LOL
@@HrisG LMAOOOO. IT'S HILARIOUS BECAUSE I DID THE SAME :D
I bought my first phone Honor 8x after watching your videos on it now after 4 years I'm buying my second phone Nothing Phone 2... Cheers!
If you buy it, tell me how is the battery? Does it last more than 6 hours, and is there any interruption in the system?
Moving that selfie camera location from the edge where your eyes dont focus on it to the center was a massive mistake
Great video 😎👍
My issues with nothing phone 1, battery live is bad, automatic screen light does not work, accidentally making screenshots, too slippery, flashlight is weak
I want to buy but idk if buy 1 or 2. Thoughts?
8+gen 1 is a great processor..better than 7+gen 2...
Having the 8+gen 1 for below 600$ is a good buy...
Plus keep in mind that 8gen 1 was made by samsung whereas 8+gen 1 was made by tsmc....
Am I the only one who prefers the front camera on the top left corner ? The center position seems to get more in the way of consuming comtenf
I am thinking of buying Nothing Phone as my secondary phone during the big billion day say in India.
Unfortunately people don’t like new things. I love my nothing 2 and have a better experience than my iPhone 15 pro max did
how come the pics from the phone 2 look almost too HDR for me and the phone 1 looks more natural? is it just me?
Where do you get these anime wallpapers? They look pretty cool.
Very good comparison. I'm very curious about what phone is his main phone? Anyone know?
hows the heating of the device during use
Hey there Tech Squi*t.. i mean Tech Spurt, could i get some of your phone knowledge please? Would the nothing phone 2 be an upgrade to the Oppo find x2 Pro? Thanking you!
Which phone is better nothing phone 2 vs s21 ultra?
To be frank, this phone is overpriced
Ur right but atleast it's not boring
Wait until you see how much Apple charges.
Yeah it is overpriced for what is essentially a gimmick and if want an Android I'd rather buy a galaxy s23, much better hardware and longer software support
@@phiwanhlengethwa3874comparing a Lamborghini Veneno against the Ford Mustang isn't a good idea 😅
@@phiwanhlengethwa3874 but the iPhones are better in every single way
Hello sir I had a query about nothing phone 2 is that did you find any in-built compass app in nothing phone?
If only they didn't change the front camera position....
Yeah. For me, a camera in the corner feels less intrusive.
Agree hole in middle just looks stupid and intrusive. For this alone, all the will to buy the phone gone
Is nothing one is good ? should i buy one?
After consuming a ton of reviews on the newer model I may be SLIGHTLY softening my disappointment, but only slightly. I still feel it's slightly overpriced for what it offers, and still feel the glyph action is simply a gimmick which requires a clear case if you want to protect it, as most people do. Though I'm man enough to admit that the likely software support, plus wireless charging and 1-120hz panel warrant a price jump of some description, I still feel it's probably jumped a tad too much IMO, especially with the other offerings available.
The snapdragon 8+ gen 1 is another important upgrade tho
@@raffyarceus99 Indeed, though it's only about equal to the SD 7 gen 2 which can be found in cheaper priced phones, so that makes me think the price hike must really have come from elsewhere. Maybe the screen, or camera 🤔
@@Nite-owl maybe from greed too!
@@adarshpatil5374 Oh without a doubt greed plays a role. Everything has risen in price over the last year or more and I do feel there's a point where a lot of companies think "people have accepted it's going to rise, so lets maximise on that". Had it been a bit closer to £529, or maybe even £549 I think I'd have been more understanding and might have put it on my list of "maybe's", but at £579 I think it's just a bit too pricey for what I need. It's growing on me, but man, that price sticks in my throat !
I feel like if it was priced 100usd less it would be selling like hotcakes
I am confused should i buy N1 or N2?
Matter of time when we can expect a Something Phone.
Totally nope
Flagship wannabe failed. Flagship Killer also failed 🤣
The Nothing Phone 2 is really nothing special. Powered by last year Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, but selling at this price is really a huge joke👎
Phone with better spec also Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with much lower price and better camera:
Xiaomi 12T Pro
POCO F5 Pro
ROG Phone 6
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (256gb) at rm3000 and lower
Samsung S23
Xiaomi 13
Funny how people never price in inflation and higher wages.
The only tech RUclipsr we can trust
I prefer the camera dot in the corner of the screen. I enjoy using my one on a daily basis. So no, the upgrades are not worth it for me.
I really dont get the hate i think for the price its not a bad device id rather have the 8+gen1 than this tensor trash. Screen is also not that bad i cant really notice a difference between 2k and fhd on a phone. Only downside is that there is no telephoto lens 🤷
No headphone jack, no excuse, no deal.
Boy would you love the Asus Zenfones then they seem to be amazing. I would suggest looking those up.
This channel is Unique😂
I want a new phone I just don't know witch one to get I was thinking getting the nothing phone 2 but the price is too much I was looking at the honour 90 phone .. any help will do I got a poco NFC X3.. that what I am using at the moment.
The audio from the video recording sounds better on the Nothing Phone 1. Why?
I was thinking the same. Maybe he did block the mic with his hand or something?
@@ZacklFair I saw a few other reviews Doesn’t seem to be a coincidence. I mean, it could be. But I don’t think it is. Could be software though. Which means that, at least in theory, it can be fixed with a software update.
Been debating about buying the nothing phone 2 vs iphone 13
Which would u recommend
If You're not a "photograph person" phone 2 would be the better option.. honestly..
Keep the phone you have if it still does a great job. Invest those 600 or more in ETFs or S&P500.
Thank me later.
No financial advice 😂
where can I get that Nazuna wallpaper from? :(
Where do you get your anime wallpapers from
Am I alone in always placing my phone on its rear rather than on the screen? I Call it Screen protection.
ig i'll stick with phone 1, but i wish the phone 1 selfie camera was in the middle
Camera module is bit different
OMG... Forget the Nothing phone 2... 10k shy of 1m subs. Well done you crazy bald favourite UK youtuber type person...
I'm still happy with the Nothing phone 1 I see nothing here to me me want to upgrade it. I play games like titan quest a lot and I've not had an issue or wish for a better chipaet
Nothing os 2 looks a bit better but I use nova anyway so don't care.
bro how do you use double tap to lock screen on nova?i was using nova paid version and i installed it in np1 but double tap was not working in it
Nice video
Where do you download all the wallpapers in your phone vids from
The internet. Probably.
Bro where can I get these wallpapers?
To be honest I'll probably just wait til a phone 3 or 4 comes out. The Phone 2 isn't really much of an upgrade.
Nothing should have just used the Snapdragon 7 gen 2 processor to keep the price down by $200 why would anyone get this over a Pixel 7 Pro same price with a way better camera. The OS on the nothing phone isnt good enough over stock Android. Selling this phone for $800 for a mid range phone. Y'all crazy to buy this.
When it reaches £450 then it will be a good deal
Where the wallpaper came from
What About SAR value?
Which wallpaper from this phone
what's your wallpaper app??
esim supported ?
I feel it's too early to go for more premium type would have stick to the midrange 👎👎👎
This is midrange.
Sir can i get the wallpapers link plz
Coming from a current apple user(iphone11) , would they be a good switch or should I go for a Samsung? And if I do go with the nothing phone would the 2 be a better buy?
Why u don't want to be in Apple anymore?
@@lostinreverie2183 want to try something different, bored of the basic looks of iPhone, tired of overpaying for more features than what I need just to stay in the same ecosystem, iPhone isn’t bad but I’ve been using them for about 10 years now

Which anime is this wallpaper ? Pls.
Had the (1) sold it and got the (2)
Can you review the copy of this phone please unihertz luna
Back lights is just a gimmick to me. Cam is not that great compared to other brands with lower price.
the front camera in the middle is actually a deal breaker for me
🤓
Okay idiot, don't buy it then
Yeah I wish to just remove it or hide it under the screen.
Is that wallpaper nazuna chan
why are phones so big these days?
I got phone 1 128gb at RM1499 now phone 2 is RM2999 with 8+gen1. I think it should remain phone 1 RM2499 starting price
Everyone forgot about inflation and workers demanding higher pays.
Phone 1 256gb is RM1999 now. Would you personally pay an extra RM1000 for the Phone 2 8+gen1? How was your Phone 1's experience?
I had sooooo much high hopes......I hoped that the phone 2 would be 6.4 inch and the front camera would not be in the centre
Now I feel like a donkey for having those hopes
Never gave high hopes = never get disappointed
