- This video intend to share my experience trying to pick an Overdrive Pedal for my pedal board. I’m not sponsored by any brand (I wish, but I’m just a guy) and I don’t wanna lead you to what you should get. Watch and see which you one you like the most and what fits in your pocket.
Xotic - SL drive
Friedman - BE-OD
MXR - 5150 Overdrive EVH
I tried to use to same riff in order to make the same comparison from beginning to end, but became a little annoying, I admit... sorry!
Strumming on a single coil for high gain chugging pedals 🤦♂️

Could you test the pedals with a sample that better tests the type of pedals? Like if you're going to play something from CCR into high gain pedals, it doesn't do them justice at all.

Yeah man! Super high gain… you either get louder than the noises or put a nice gate. Very annoying
What pedal could be used good for 80s metal
Hey Keyblade, it’s hard for me to say, since I’m not a heavy metal guy, however, I can see many of old school guys with a BOSS Metalzone on theirs board. From the newer stuff the Friedman has a big punch. If you can get both and test for you own choice... both have great resale market and none will break the bank. Hope it helps! Rock on 🤘🏻

Duro mano usar pedais quando se tem o puro creme do marimbondo cavalo nas mãos rs vi seu head aí, válvulas são coisas de Deus... Abs

Estou aqui a um tempo já… da pra testar coisas legais por um preço justo, ainda mais se comprar usado. Tenho feito bastante isso. Aquela estória… tocar mesmo a gente não toca, mas gosta de coisa boa 😂
