That last kill where you lost the Hecate was awesome! So close to losing it before the Ishtar died, only to then think you are safe so get ready to warp, only to be blapped by NPC’s. Great entertainment and solid content. Ty for the vid 👍
I really thought I was going to get away. The rest of the fleet ended up getting two more kills before we met on a gate and they podded me back to Jita. It was a great fleet and I am looking forward to the next one.
Doing god's work. Ive been doing this solo with vedmak/osprey navy/proteus and it works quite well. The issue with using hecate or proteus for this kind of thing is that ideally u want to use EM damage, because these ishtars are made to tank guristas rats, and often have 0% em resist, about 20% if they have a damage control, and 35% if they have a rig, but still very low. Although with proteus u can use a drone fit and use praetors. But yeah, there are lots of things you can use to do it solo and it works well. Nice stuff, tense at the end lol.
We took a filament to get to Frat space. We did not know where we were going to land. I agree the Hecate is not the best damage type but you make due with what you have at the time.
Try not to orbit with mwd on. You’ll track better, stay in your optimal and do more damage. Also use hot keys to save having to move your mouse pointer around the screen when you need to activate things quickly.
every single clip i was waiting for you to go into sharpshooter mode and it never came! never orbit as you kill some of your dps with your own transversal, keep at range is best option. Use the sharpshooter mode its there for a reason. Defense mode as well. All in all good video.
I agree. It might have given the dps advantage. I am I’ll argue the keep at range though. If I am sitting at a range I have the chance of transversal going to 0 and the drones can hit better. I feel it is best to keep moving. Thanks for the mode too though. I will keep that in mind the next time I’m out.
Frat members gate camped my hauling in .4, I'm not carrying anything. This is video makes me very happy. How can I get in on this. I'm currently broke and alpha but I'm vengeful and dedicated
Nice video... but u really need to learn how to use the hecate... u always in prop mode... there are 2 other mods and u would survived if u had used them in the last ishtar.
this doesn't look like bots to be sadly. you could of maybe caught one, but honestly after you appear the bots I've chased have always gotten off the field before i got there. So to me this is just AFK lazy players

Yeah that's why I like the garmur on frat Ishtar bots. With 0% em resists my garmur can break the cap stable xl shield booster reps with t2 mjolnior.
And their drones cannot catch you with a mid grade snake set and it is super easy to disengage if their friends show up.

How do they keep the rats from attacking their drones while AFK? I have to babysit mine...

i think keeping the drones on aggressive does it
try warping to a moon, ejecting, waiting 10 secs, and getting back in. that is the only drone aggro trick that has ever worked for me.

You’re correct. I do need to work on the hot keys I will keep the orbit in mind as well for next time.

I know it doesn’t look like it but we had quite a few warp off within seconds of us entering the system. Due to the magic of editing I left those out.
