@@wrxsubaru02 Its not as easy as you think mate. I cant force them to be this blatant. I try to show them cheating but in reality sometimes I cannot show you everything
I don't play Rust anymore because they added way too much of dumb shit to the game and I find the vast majority of the players to be a tiny bit too annoying for me BUT at least it's nice to see there's admins that are working on cleaning the servers from these cockroaches. I'm still playing a lot of CSGO and people don't seem to care anymore about cheaters. I think the last time I saw a cheater getting vote-kicked it was in the 90s or something like that... lol
Just an example of how it is in CSGO now, one of the last time I was playing this game I noticed a few things a bit sussy about the 3 top players from the opposite team. I look at their Steam accounts, one guy is "This account is Private" and the other two only have about 20 hours of total play time and 1-2 hours for a few free small games. Very typical cheaters accounts... But the funny part of all this is that when I told people for being suspicious about these guys, half of my team tried to kick me... So yeah... I've been thinking for a while that CSGO players were a lot less braindead than Rust players but I'm starting to think I was wrong about that.

you should have raided his 2 bases while he was raiding yours lol. so he gets your stuff but comes back to nothing lol. he would be riding a high after getting tour base. only to have his tiny cheater heart completly crushed. would be epic

The person who surprised me was the one I once knew who was baffled by the word "altitude".
I love how he wouldn't stop making the same sounds over n over to get on your nerves and instantly shuts up when his base got pummeled by a barrage of rockets.
It's funny how childish hackers get when they're on the receiving end.
You should see how pathetic hardened criminals can get. Both when caught by the police and in court.
This kid really looked at a 2x1 base made completely out of HQM and went about it like it was a completely normal and definitely not an obvious bait base then has the awe to act shocked when he realizes that it was not at all as its seems. I knew cheaters were dumb but I didn't think they were THAT dumb.

Worst ones are the smart'ish ones. I Full crouched up to the base of a guy I suspected cheating. And he went out of his base, ran away from my direction and did a big circle around his base and shot me in the back. I Reported him and left it at that. He got banned like the next day lmao, even got the message you get if the cheater got banned.

This is one of reasons I gave up on Rust. Was too sick with cheaters for way too many reasons. It's nice to watch Camomo videos tho.

If we had a larger base of active admins taking care of this, it would be much better, because banning cheaters is a hard task, and a really consuming thing, I've been admin once, and its really cringe when you have to spectate someone who "knows" how not to be obvious, it can take hours and hours to find out...
@@royken7337that part. A smart cheater could take days or weeks to be found out. I can't stand the multiplayer gaming world right now.
Create a fake base, teleport the cheater into the base, and act like you just came across him and kill him. Keep teleporting him back into the base and keep killing him like that and get him riled up and angry.
I can try it, Most of them just log off. Would love to be a fly on the wall in their rooms when I ban them but. I reckon alot of them rage IRL

@@Camomo_10Yee def more like this one. This method is prolly better at deterring them than the interrogations. Also maybe try a small stone/sheet metal with a little honeycomb to bait the raid easier than hqm.

Would love a map mod where you can just stick the hackers in a unreachable maze location (like from the halloween event) where they just constantly respawn there and have to rock fight each other. That way they can even waste MORE of their time! Bang up job as always and good vid!
Unfortunately addons like this can cause server lag and issues. Would be awesome on a custom map server but again getting pop and getting a cheater to join are always a struggle

Having admind in other games in the past I know you don't have the time or the opportunity to do this more but this is so satisfying to see long format, the obvious evidence, the follow up and the finish. I always loved being a Rust admin and thankfully the server I played on didn't have much of an issue with cheaters. We only had about 5-10 people online at any time and I'd run around helping people out or creating events for the players.
More of these kind of vids please. I like seeing them slowly realize whats going on rather that just instantly knowing its an admin

The funniest thing you could do would be to set everything up like you did up to the point where he found your base, then while he was gathering the supplies, move the base somewhere else, and teleport your sleeping body into his base.

Camo; A while back I mentioned that I wanted to see more of the 'cheating proof' before they got banned, I hugely appreciate the fact you're doing exactly that in these videos. I'm also an NZ'er, and I play on your servers - every day I report someone and almost every day I find they've been banned within a day or two.

I think this is the very best way to deal with the cheaters.
First, counter-"cheat" them until they get super frustrated. If they have any empathy or morality they'll eventually learn what experience they're giving others, and perhaps grow as a person. If they don't have any empathy, which is likely, hopefully they'll end up having such a negative experience that cheating will be less satisfying, leading them to look elsewhere.
Talking to them in the 'interview chair' etc just gives them attention, so my vote is just mess with them till they figure out it's an admin, then silently boot/lag them off and ban. Low dopamine, high frustration.
