Man I've been playing "Biker Mice From Mars" SNES and that game is hard as balls. It holds up great too, really amazing game. Its similar to "Rock n Roll Racing" but unique enough to stand on its own legs. Definitely on the top 5 of best racing games for SNES of all time.
When this game first came out, it was pretty amazing for its time. An added plus was the animals talked to each other in gibberish, which to me as a kid, was mind-blowing. lol
@@theonewiththeeyeoftruth884 That stage freaked me out as a kid! I remember the first time I found it I didn't even want to go in because I thought I broke the game.
I won a flight jacket and several T Shirts and other crap from that "Super Star Fox Weekend" Nintendo sponsored back in 1993. I had the top score at the local Walmart. Apparently winners at each participating retail location were entered into a drawing for a trip or something. I still own the jacket although no way it fits me these days.
Hey Mike I just wanted to say that video you did with James playing Goat Simulator…fucking…KILLED ME! 😂 honest to gawd I haven’t laughed that hard in a LONG time! PS-apologies for this comment being unrelated to this particular video.
Great job, Mike. Star fox is the evidence that leaning and bending the whole body while playing video games actually works. Since you mentioned tattoos: I promised myself to get a Star Fox tattoo if I beat the Hard Path and so I did. Much love from Brazil.
Great sound track. This game was always a blast hah. One of those grinning asteroids could be blown apart for a secret from what I remember. Which one I'm not sure lol
@@dannydunn802 Oh man, congrats on beating it! I think I got pretty far the last time I tried it, but I got frustrated at one point, I had to put it down haha. Cheers man!
I'd like to see Star Fox 64. I've never beaten it on the hard path. But I almost did once as I probably only needed another second when I died during the escape.
I watch it here because i cant sadly watch your streams live so thank you! I dont really comment in chat on twitch anyways especially when it is flooded haha.
I was never amazed. My friend bought an Snes in 1994 with Starfox. I had a Genesis at the time. I was so excited to play it. Excitement gave way to disappointment after I played the game. Super Mario World is an absolute classic, but Starfox was always overrated.
@@theonewiththeeyeoftruth884 Yeah I did see the remake. It was average. I think it lacks the charm of the original. I wish they would have made a totall recall 2 instead of remake.
Gold on Star Fox Assault had it's moments. Especially the last boss, but mostly because it's just a damage sponge, and has area attacks that aren't entirely clear where the hit box will be and you die in 2 or 3 hits.
Apparently asking for new Star Fox on-rails shooter is too much to ask for, not innovating enough. The wheel does not have to reinvented every time. Heck if they want to put new elements into StarFox could have include Mass Effect like the character interactions (multiple responses and consequences depending on actions towards certain characters) and exploring new planets with the landmaster/blue-marine respectively.
I beat this game on hard mode as a teenager maybe right before I became a programmer waaaaaaaay back in the 90s, tinkering around with Turbo Pascal/C/ASM in MS-DOS. I kept thinking MAN... it would be SO COOL if you could play Starfox on my 486sx/25 PC, right before any console emulators started popping up. Here I'm in my 40s tinkering around with C++/SDL2/OpenGL/Direct3D. It's now trivial to run Retropie on a Raspberry Pi 4 that emulates a SNES in a C++/SDL2 environment, coding an emulator from scratch though, still something I want to do though to understand all the hardware.
@@Rodzilla97 Yeah I played Starfox on my SNES a ton when it came out and i loved it. However, if they could have found a way to run the game at 60fps back in the nineties - they would have. So if I use an emulator to help get a classic game that was struggling back in the day because it was so ahead of it's time technologically to perform the way the developers intended but lacked the hardware to achieve - it isn't sacrilege. It's just a neat thing. The teenage version of me would've loved to play a version of my favorite games with no hardware limitations back in the 90's. Imagine you're playing your favorite PC game on a good gaming PC at 60 fps, then you play it on a wimpy PC at 15 fps- it's still the same good game, but playing it on struggling hardware at low frame rate feels like a disservice to the game experience right? Same thing when you take an old classic and just run it full speed, it's still authentic and respectful, only more ideal.
Hey mike...can you play a dam modern game for once i mean how long has it been? Play some ps5 shit like spiderman or demon souls...somethin then maybe ill go back to watching your content.
48:00 I just realized that's the same boss that appears in Starfox 64 on Zoness, or at least the Zonness boss was based on it.
1:28:54 i had never heard him screaming of joy
1:29:03 The Joker bowed to you, for your amazing accomplishment.
I always preferred this over Star Fox 64. I wish this would get remastered in HD, and steady framerate.
Trophy Earned: Beating Star Fox in Hard Path!! You deserve a medal Mike. Good work!
The one time I got to the end on the hard path, my Mom came in and shut the system off and told me to go to bed. I never tried again.

Congrats on 100k. A great time for Manchild Inc.

So you have also play a game too if you see someone let's play it?

This was the first game as a kid I 'completely' beat. All the stages, all the difficulties. I was so proud of myself.
Want to see Mike thrive. He's a valuable asset and companion in this cold world. Get it Mike!!!
I remember how cool I tought Fortuna was as a kid with the transfer of types of terrain, over the land then the sea and back to the other side.
Good luck
Mike you're one of the most underrated streamers. You're awesome man.
No
Total Recall with Arnold actually does age pretty well. Saw it a year ago, and it was like watching a new movie.
Ah this one is going to be brilliant. Massive Star Fox fan. Cannot wait for this one.
The original is one that often gets overlooked because of the N64 version.
Back in the day these graphics blew my mind. You couldn't have convinced me that they would get better.

That frog in the thumbnail ( is it Flippy? I feel like it's either Flippy or Floppy...) looks like "WHOA, man... keep me OUT of this!"
For that bubble shooting boss- can you destroy the bubble shooting arms first and then take out the core of it?
You beat the hard path... but at what cost? BUT AT WHAT COST?!?! You killed Roger Rabbit and Jack Nicholson Joker in the process.🤣🤣🤣
GG Mike. I can barely get through Venom on the easiest route, that was damn impressive.
1:23:46 Mike looking like experiencing PS6 already, when it's still 1993 SNES showing who's boss.
